A nice hotel with one unanticipated fault.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Apart from the breakfast, everything else was satisfactory.
Cons: How about a free continental breakfast?
Location: It is next to an airport and a huge airplane factory, so, at certain hours, the traffic can be absolutely horrendous.
Everything was fine until I went to the Continental Breakfast. Everything was identical to every other motel I have been in. You had all the usual selections, hot cereal, cold cereal, muffins, bagels, fruit, juices, coffee.I took a tray, selected a blueberry muffin, a glass of juice, a bowl of fruit, a bagel with peanut butter and a cup of black coffee. I then took my tray to a table, sat down and commenced eating. Shortly, a wait person came by and placed a small leatherette folder on the table. I opened it and was amazed to see a bill for the meal, plus tax. There was space to write in a tip. Who was I tipping, myself? I waited on myself! A waiter did come by and asked if he could take my tray, despite the fact that I was still eating and there was still food on the tray. I presume it was a standard charge, because no one checked to see what I took. If I had known I was going to be billed, I would have taken more food! The only difference between the breakfast at this motel and that at every other motel I have stayed in is that NONE of the others had charged for it.

Hidden gem!

Pros: Clean & comfy. Friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit of a gong show as they lost our first friend's order, had to ask twice for our bill... service too slow.
What a great hotel. Comfortable, quiet and great staff! Town of Mukilteo is beautiful... we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Better than I expected

Originally looking for a place closer to the Seatac airport but the drive across downtown was worth it. I also booked the room the day of our stay and the price was the most reasonable for what I had left. Very satisfied!

Pros: really clean
Cons: some of the stuff they offer
Location: the airplane museum and the water.
They do not offer free continental breakfast and their continental breakfast cost a lot when you have kids that you have to feed even lower motel chains don't charge for their continental breakfast....

Decent hotel, nicely laid out floorplan

I live in eastern WA, but often visit family and friends in Everett/whidbey island. I usually stay at the marriott townplace suites, but they were full this time, so we stayed here at the Hilton. The rooms were nice, comfortable beds, and pull out sofas. Two TVs and good accommodations. The only thing I didn't like was they charge for continental 14$ breakfast... I was shocked at that.
