Horrible experience

Posted May 19, 2015
Housekeeping took our clothes, detergent and fabric softener (all in the same bag) and threw them away. When we went to the manager to complain she could not get housekeeping to come to her office. We waited about 30 minutes and finally after multiple requests went to housekeeping. The housekeeping manager made light of the issue and returned our garments (missing the Tide Pods and fabric softener) along with a house vending box of Tide. No sincere apology and no explanation of how one of the housekeepers could have taken things and just thrown out. The worst experience we have ever had in a hotel.

Hampton Suites Miami South Homestead

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: service bij uitchecken (13:00 uur, ipv 11 uur).
Cons: water op de kamer..
Location: Keys, mall/outlet
uitstekende ligging tov de Keys en niet ver van Miami (airport). Geen bar aanwezig in hotel, zwembad ok. Blijft bizar dat er nog hotels zijn waar je op de kamer 3 dollar voor een flesje water moet betalen. Ontbijt was redelijk. Mall/outlet center in de nabije ongeving.

I always enjoy staying in a Hampton Inn. The hotel is always clean. The breakfast variety is greAt. The swimming pool is very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Pros: Everything. Clean & comfortable with a very nice staff.
This was a belated 46th wedding anniversary trip so we could visit the Everglades for two day. A great location and very nice hotel.

Not a lot of choices in Homestead

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Clean & comfortable. Easy to locate. Free internet
Cons: If you stay more than one night, you hope there are different breakfast items. There were not. The in-room coffee is undrinkable.
Location: Nothing to do near by! There is a good Cuban restaurant across the street in a strip mall.
When you stay at Hamptons, you can predict the room décor, the breakfast choices, and the cleanliness. And sometimes it is good to have no surprises. Homestead is a launching spot for Everglades activities, but otherwise, there's not much to do there. So it's good to have a clean and welcoming hotel.

Nice hotel with easy drive to the national park.

The breakfast staff were the only ones I found to not be friendly. The apple juice concentrate ran out and there were two women standing at the end of the counter and I politely said I thought the apple juice had run out because it tasted very watery. Neither spoke to me or even looked at me. One did go over and change out the concentrate so they obviously heard and understood but to not even get a nod in acknowledgement was just rude. Otherwise the staff were friendly. Not the best mattresses but still a very clean comfortable stay.

Nice Hotel close to Everglades.

Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Needs a hot tub out by the pool.
We had a great stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better then average for a Hampton Inn. Great location right off the Turnpike and very close to the Everglades and the start of US 1 to the Keys. I would stay here again.
