“Watch your step”

The hotel was great, customer service great HOWEVER there were a few unsafe areas when walking outside the motel where plumbing work was being done. watch your step.

“decent older hotel”

I stayed in this hotel as a late night stop over on the way to the Keys. I arrived very late and left early the next morning. There are several restaurants very close by but I didn't try any, they were all chains I believe. This is an older hotel and looks it but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. It served my purposes. A little expensive for what it is. In the future I think I will stay on one of the Keys.

Area recommendations

Just stayed to catch a few hours of sleep while driving from Daytona to Key West. Didn't have time to check out the area.

Definitely get gas before heading into the Keys. Gas prices increase quickly the further out you drive.

“Not for a longer stay”

The neighborhood was poor. The hotel was clean, but it smelled some kind of strange (particularly in the room).

Location is ideal to drive into the Everglades (main entrance).

“Nice, Quiet Room, but Uncomfortable Bed”

This was a good quality hotel with a nice room. My only complaint is the bed seemed very uncomfortable, I think maybe there was a plastic, waterproof sheet underneath the cloth sheets, and it was hard to sleep. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area.

“Comfortable, but expected more value for the price”

Booked a suite with two beds and hide-a-bed couch for the extra room. Expected the couch area of the suite to be separate from the bed for extra privacy. Only had a half wall between the two. Good selection of breakfast foods, including hot food. No hotel laundry available. Has an outdoor pool, but water was somewhat cold; no hottub. Overall nice hotel, but expected a little more value for the price of the suite.

“Impreesive Stay”

FL City's Pride Took a chance and lucked out for this short stay. Wished I could stay longer in these comfortable friendly, and clean accommodations.

Everglades National Park...walk the Anahinga Trail and explore nature at a leisurely pace, Visit Robert's produce and enjoy a world famous fruit milkshake!

“Hotel to the keys”

We were just staying there on our way to key west. Everyone was friendly, the rooms were clean, the apple juice was good with the free breakfast as well as the cinnamon rolls. Skip the orange juice it's kind of gross. Can't say I have any real complaints.
