“Will recommend to others”
The hotel is nice and clean. The breakfast is free and has lots of variety. The location is convenient. It is close to the visitor center, Alligator Farm and Everglade National Park.

“Great stay in Florida City”
Wonderful experience. Front desk was very helpful and even offered a map of local eateries, gas stations, and points of interest. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again!
“Simple but Great Place”
Older style Hotel but very well kept and clean too. They really work at keeping this place in top shape. Single floor type where you can park right outside your door which makes unloading your bags a snap. Quiet location but you'll need your own wheels to get around as I never saw much in the way of public transit. The free continental breakfast was good and nobody cares if you take a banana or muffin back to your room. Free high speed internet in the rooms and a nice outdoor pool to enjoy. This place is the jumping off point to the Keys which is an easy day trip from here. A shopping mall is located not too far but the W@lm@rt is tricky to find. Follow thier map and you will get there.
“Nice and comfortable hotel”
It is a very quiet and clean hotel. The people on the desk are very friendly and happy to solve for you any problem. The hotel is located 25 miles away from Everglades park and the same distance to Biscayne, and it is exactly at the entrance to the Keys. It is all you need to get the most of you South Florida adventures. I should add that it is very cheep
“Great Value for a Sightseeing Vacation”
Pros: Continental breakfast was better than most (usual cereal, fruit, bagels, and danishes plus english muffins, sausage, egg patties, and cheese so you you can make a b-fast sandwich); located near a lot of good sights to see; located near a lot of places to eat; pool area has wi-fi and tables in addition to loungers and chairs; water pressure was good and plenty of hot water; and staff was friendly and very helpful. Cons: Pool had a lot of dead bugs; pool/pool area (fenced of course) is fairly small; cleaning crew did not replace my sheets every day with clean ones; bad traffic due to road construction right at the entrance (and all the way down the street both ways); and not much of a vacation atmosphere at the actual hotel Overall: Great stay for the money, but I would mainly recommend this for people or families that will be busy sightseeing during most of their trip - great for sleeping, showering, and eating breakfast basically
“good hotel”
Room was clean, staff was helpful, good continental breakfast, can't beat the price
“Special touches”
It was a treat to stay here on our way to Key West. Along with being clean, efficient and comfortable, it was also, well, Cute! Lots of little touches, a gecko here and there, a tidy landscape, even a laundry near the pool, which made me want to wash something while I lounged around. We'll stay there again...especially at half the price of 30 miles south of there!
“Great choice for the Everglades”
As long as you understand that this is a two-star motel, you will not be disappointed. Breakfast was included with the room and had a great selection. Cereal, toast, bagels, donuts, coffee, tea, juice, and items that you could heat up like eggs, waffles, and sausage patties. It made a great start to every day. Free microwave popcorn upon check-in (rooms include microwave/refrigerator combo). Great for a snack after a long day walking the Everglades. The location couldn't be better. 30 minutes to Key Largo, 10 minutes to the Everglades National Park, 5 minutes to Robert is Here milkshakes (the key lime shakes are excellent). We didn't use the pool as it was a little chilly while we were there, but it looked clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful every time we needed them (check-in, getting new key after ours stopped working, printing out boarding passes, check-out). We also met the owner, Sunny, and he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room itself was decent. It is showing its age, but again for a two-star motel I wasn't expecting newly renovated rooms. We occasionally heard the neighbor's TV if ours was not on, but no noise aside from that. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay at the Travelodge.
“Close to the Everglades”
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was close to the Everglades, and there were many restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful.
