one night stopoverPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: location, bar/food all day
Cons: Towels were of very poor quality, bathroom floor needed to be replaced
Location: you can walk to old Evora in 10 minutes. A 15 min drive to the Almendres cromlech
Hotel is well located, easy to access from highway, just outside the city walls and all you want to see in Evora is within a 10 minute walk. Information at check in was very good (map, main sights, hotel facilities). Room is tiny; only one bath towel per person (poor quality). Bar is open 24 hrs; breakfast was good.

Close to the delightful city of EvoraPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Its proximity to the city
Cons: Directions to the hotel. They need expanding.
Location: Very convenient to visit the city
The hotel, although difficult to find from the directions provided, is in fact very close to the walled city and provides very easy access.

Reasonable price & Comfy bedPosted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Price very reasonable, bed one of the most comfortable anywhere, free wifi
Cons: Needs some updating; décor looked to be from the 70s.
Location: Within walking distance of walled city, which is spectacular!! Also close by was an arena/theatre for live performances, and some nice restaurants.
Rooms are small, but very efficient; reminded me of a cruise ship cabin, there were cubby holes for everything. The bed was very comfortable! While not a fancy hotel, it gets the job done for a short stay. Had we stayed longer in Evora, we would have wanted more space. Breakfast was included for a small fee (believe it was 8 euros/person) and it was customary for Europe...fruit, cereal, pastries, juice, coffee.

For the price, the Best Hotel aroundPosted Oct 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved my stay at Ibis Evora. It was clean, friendly staff, great location and everything you can expect with the price we paid. Just loved and will definately stay again on my next trip to Evora.

Good value for the pricePosted Sep 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Ibis Hotels are consistent and this one seemed typical. Although our guest room was very small it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location of this hotel was just steps outside the gate so it was an easy walk to the old city and major sites. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants in the old city and the Ibis had a very nice contenintel breakfast for 6 euros.....it was a great value for the money. Also, there was plently of free parking at the Hotel and not staying in the old city was nice as we didn't have to navigate the narrow streets and pay for parking.

Functional hotelPosted Sep 3, 2013
Within walking distance to both the bus and the train station. The room has no frill but is functional enough. Good quality for price.

A very good, basic hotelPosted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our first experience of an Ibis hotel and we were suitably impressed. It was easy to find, situated just outside the walled town and an easy walk to the centre for shopping, eating & sightseeing. There was plenty of parking, reception was open, clean & tidy and well organised, & the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a large lift to the various floors. There was a bar which was open 24/7, a public use pc, & a couple of TV's showing sports & news. The room, though a little short of space, was clean, tidy and comfortable, with A/C. The en suite bathroom was also clean, functional and in good working order. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Though the room had no in-room kettle, etc, pots of hot water was always available for tea or coffee from the bar. Breakfast was a buffet style continental breakfast & reasonable. We would recommend the Ibis Evora as an ideal place to stop for a night’s R&R or for two or more in order to explore Evora & the surrounding area.

Good value and decent qualityPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although this hotel is located outside the walls of the old city, it's still conveniently located, as the old city is small. The rooms are small but clean, and everything worked. Parking is convenient. The restaurant is ok. It's a very good value.
