“Short stay at Swallows Guest House”
Very clean and comfortable room. Extremely warm greeting and very friendly throughout offering valuable advice on where to go etc. Overall a very good experience and would not hesitate to return.

stayed 2 nights at the Swallows Guest house, and could not recommend it highly enough! my single room (though typical european size - aka small) was so comfortable that i didn't want get up and leave bed one morning. the breakfast is varied and most importantly, the staff is so very welcoming and genuinely kind (the owner even offered to drive me to the rail station). hoping for a reason to visit that side of the country soon, so i can go back.

We enjoyed a peaceful and comfortable stay amidst very professional surroundings. Our twin bedded room was beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Unusually, nowadays, guest soap, shampoo, shower gel etc were provided in addition to tea/coffee and bottled water. Breakfast (8.30am - 10.00am) was cooked to order, so involved a short wait, but fruit, cereal, tea and toast were available whilst we waited. Our hosts were courteous and helpful and the hotel is situated 3 minutes walk away from the sea-front and five minutes from the town centre. On one evening we ate in Prezzo just down the hill and that, too, was a quality experience. We've already booked for this Summer and can highly recommend The Swallows - the price was also good value for money.
