I travel every month to see my fiancé, so I have been hunting for the best place to stay in GDL, and I must say this hotel hits everything that I need. Great staff, everyone is very friendly and will do whatever you need to make your stay perfect. The hotel is tucked away, with big palm trees surrounding it, so you do not even feel like you are in the city. The rooms are clean and have the basic kitchen set up. We spent the afternoon at the pool having a few beers and ordering food, it was great! The hotel grounds are also very clean and there is private parking if you bring a car.

"Good business center, helpful staff, very good with english"
The business center is competently staffed 23 hr/day. English is no problem. There are two Fiesta Americana hotels in Guadalajara. I mistakenly booked the other one, but the staff was able to convert my reservation to the Minerva location. The only glitch is the hotel's WiFi connection is weak in some rooms, but the Starbucks adjacent to the hotel has excellent WiFi and is a fun place to work and eat.

This hotel was an oasis in the middle of a big city. We wanted to be near our daughter who was living in Zapopan and this was walking distance to her. I also wanted to relax by a pool and paid a little extra for a superior room with a walk out patio and view of the lovely landscaped yard. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It was quiet despite the busy surroundings. The room was very updated and clean, big marble walk in shower, and large TV.
