the hotel was lovely and beautifully kempt. the staff was friendly and very helpful, going out of their way to recommend places to dine on Christmas Eve.

Complimentary breakfast staff is very helping. Never stayed in a hotel with complementary apples, news paper at every corner. Good beds as well. Towels near pool/gym is helping.

Everything was neat, clean and in good order. We were most impressed with the friendliest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel, from the front desk to breakfast staff, everyone was friendly and helpful but not over the top or annoying. Great job!

Everything was wonderful, but what stood out the most was the exceptional staff who treated us like we we rock stars! It was so refreshing to to see staff smile and genuinely care about making your stay the best it can be. I can honestly say EVERY single employee I interacted with or observed appeared to enjoy their job. Seriously. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and open until 10PM AND they had nice fluffy towels available. I was very surprised at the breakfast. Many healthy options like Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal, boiled eggs and veggie omelet sandwiches on whole grain pita, but if you want to splurge, don't worry! They also have make your own waffles, coffee cakes, bagels and cream cheese and Jimmie Dean bacon or sausage and egg sandwiches. The wireless internet was decent too!

“A great family stop”

My wife and I needed to stay, along with our three children under the age of 6. They're very well-behaved kids, but many hotels are hostile to families with more than one child, no matter what. We were treated with courtesy, and staff were not only helpful but friendly. The decor was relaxing, and we had a great time. Our only difficulty was that our room lacked a refrigerator. I probably failed to notice this when I booked the room, but it was a serious inconvenience.

“Neat and Clean as a Pin”

This is an excellent hotel stay....clean, well-kept, friendly and accommodating staff, attractively decorated. For the out of town traveler, it is in a tricky location to find without a GPS, or even WITH a GPS! Suggest you Mapquest it prior to the trip and review how to get off US 1 and onto the Old Baltimore Pike in order to access the entrance to the hotel. Breakfast is pretty much bagels and pastry, cereal and yogurt. Similarly priced competitors offer a more complete hot breakfast, at least in our experience. That wouldn't keep me from staying there again, but if you're a traditional hot breakfast enthusiast, you might be disappointed in the limited menu of items available.
