Convenient for the Brandywine Valley

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Pancake maker
Cons: The printed TV channel guide wasn't correct.
Location: Brandywine River Museum (Wyeths), Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and other Du Pont houses and gardens. Lots of restaurants.
We chose this hotel as it was reasonably priced and near the museums and houses and gardens we wanted to visit in the Brandywine Valley. We had an enjoyable 3 day stay at the hotel - everything worked well, bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious. We liked the pancake maker for breakfast.

Nice hotel, convenient location

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean, rooms were nice. Bed was actually pretty comfortable too. They are very strict about check out times though, we over slept and they were calling us by 11:15. No issues though :)

Short stay

Posted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: It was clean and they had a nice breakfast.
Location: It is located close to West Chester University.
I have stayed in a few different hotels in the West Chester area. The Holiday Inn Express was very clean and pleasant. The price was in line with other chain hotels in the area. The staff was very pleasant and I feel this hotel was the best I've stayed in for the price.

Very clean and so service oriented!

Posted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: Clean nice facilities....we went in the pool and the breakfast was outstanding! Coffee great.
Cons: Better towels down at the pool.....way to little for swimming towels. Water too cold for a cold winters night with the wind blowing around in lobby.
Location: large grocery store almost right across the way.....very handy. eating joints nearby.
In a blizzard, the front lobby and floors were kept dry and clean. Food was wonderful in the AM.....Bed so comfortable and we had a refrig and microwave....what more could we asked for in a snowstorm? Front desk went out of their way to help us.....

Friendly hotel

Posted Dec 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We travelled from England and here stayed for a few nights to visit family in West Chester. The hotel was clean and all of the people there were very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect, free wi-if was a bonus and as we left at 4:30 in the morning, the guy on reception helped us, so thank you to him.
