Alpine Lodge was easy to get to, very clean and quite comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. The continental breakfast had minimal offerings but what was available was fresh.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. Extremely close to airport, just off main drag into Fairbanks. Seems a little expensive, but so was everything else up there. Nice continental breakfast.

“Extremely convenient and friendly”

My husband and I researched most of the lodges and hotels in Fairbanks for our one week trip. We needed a quiet, clean, convenient, affordable place to stay. It was extremely important that we have reliable wireless internet service in our room and we did. We didn't want to rent a car for the full week unless we couldn't avoid doing so. As it turned out, a car rental agency was right next door to the Lodge, and the Lodge offered a shuttle service that not only included 24 hour airport runs but took us into downtown to browse. The shuttle also took us to nearby markets where we could pick up a few things, store them in our room refrigerator, and avoid eating out every meal. Not only does the Alpine Lodge have a very good connecting restaurant for dinner but many local restaurants have a delivery service to the Lodge patrons. We did rent a car for a couple of days to visit Chena Hot Springs and other local sites, but overall we saved money just renting for a couple of days. Overall, this Lodge was excellent and its cleanliness and convenience were exceeded only by the helpfulness and friendliness of the employees.

I stayed with my wife for 5 nights. Enjoyed it very much, large room with a desk for computer, wireless internet works good. Staff very friendly. Best enjoy the restaurant in the back - one of the best in town, you do not need to search far. Clost to the airport and walking distance to the river boat cruise.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel room was very clean and comfy. And we really loved the minty shampoo and conditioner which we had to take home.

Clean, good service quality, worth its price, highly recommended. Surrounding neighborhood is not impresive, but if You need to stay close to the airport - it is good choice.
