Only Stayed one nightPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Convenience, cleanliness, spacious room.
Location: Creamer bird sanctuary, U of A, Gold Dredge #8, Pioneer Park.
Stayed one night here, on our way home from an Alaskan trip, was looking for a decent hotel with a decent price. Found this to be a great place on the outskirts of town. Being that it is not a huge city everything is within distance of the hotel. I would recommend this to anyone traveling through town or looking for a place to stay for a couple of days. The room was spacious and the facility was neat and clean. On site restaurant was excellent as we were not looking to go to far for dinner and drinks. Internet cafe is useful for checking on travel plans and the WiFi was an added bonuses that we had not expected.

Cons: treating more professionally for any reservation that had been approved for
the hotel manager don't want to accept or honor our reservation even though we got confirmation for 2 adult and 3 kids in the room through Expedia. we have to pay $100 more for 2 bedrooms apt that they put us on the 3rd floor with no elevator at facility and we have to carry big luggages through stairs. No AC in the living room except in the bed room only. thanks for Expedia professional staff taking care our reservation problems.

The most amazing, clean and affordable in all AK!Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: What you get for the price will blow your mind.Wish I could say, but I can't. Book it with EXPEDIA.
Cons: Not a thing could be improved on at this place, REALLY!!
Location: There are walking trails through a wild life preserve, a museum and antique tractor showcase just across the parking lot. A school with a playground.
Upon arriving to resort, don't be fooled by the older downtown area. The resort in one of the most clean, upscale places that AK has to offer. I felt very safe on the premises. Beautiful restaurant, lounge, boutique, and a huge real stuffed bear in a glass display case. They offer a day pass to a gym with everything you could ever want including a water slide, rock climbing, sauna, racquetball, tanning beds. I mean really. Included. YES....All for what?? Sorry I can't say in this review. SO LOOK IT UP...They also offered free shuttle service around town and to many sight seeing attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer and not just passing through. A little more $$ you can have a 1 or 2 bedroom with full kitchen. PLEASE look this one up on line... NO JOKE... AWESOME.... TELL A FRIEND AFTER YOUR NEXT STAY... Also offer a gourmet buffet from 6am-9am at a great price. It was off the hook and over the top.
