“Good service, but...”

just would like to say that the beds were way too hard. they room could have been cleaned better-there was a dirty ol' sock in the room which didn't instill much confidence in cleanliness.

“Our stay in Fairbanks”

The hotel is located on the Chena river in Fairbanks next to Pike's Landing (great place to eat). I was disappointed to discover that there was no coffee in the room - I stay at a lot of hotels MUCH less expensive than this that offer free in-room coffee. Also, no air conditioning. It would have been nice to get a room overlookiong the river, but I guess the Princess tour guests get first dibs..... It was an ok place to stay - however, I think it is overpriced!

“I would love to go back”

Hotel was very nice, comfy and convenient to airport. We were not with a large travel group or cruise group but manage to have great time. Laundry was very convenient for us, we were driving all over Alaska for 2 weeks. Had a view of the river and it was nice to open window and listen.

Area recommendations

The travelers center and downtown area were great for taking a leisurely walk. Be sure to check out the downtown area. Only complaint, hard to find a bar to watch football at 9:00 a.m.

“Great Views!”

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Fairbanks Princess. Lobby is great and has lot of activities to keep you occupied (puzzles, chess, tv). Food in the restaurant was decent for hotel food. Only complaint was no Pay Per View Movie option. Our room had 1 station of HBO, but our travelling partners room (same type) did not have HBO.

Area recommendations

Go to Cookie Jar for breakfast! Fab! Go to Silver Gulch for lunch or dinner (in Fox AK) - short drive.

“Nice Stop in Fairbanks”

Enjoyed an overnight stay on a business trip at a decent rate. Dinner was fine, and the room was very comfortable--only thing I missed was coffee in the room. Good wireless throughout.

“Great!!”

We had booked a double room and got a king instead. The room was on the terrace level, corner room and was great. We loved overlooking the river. The grounds are beautiful.Bed was great.Very clean and comfortable. We would definetly choose this hotel again.
