Disappointed
Posted Jan 17, 2013
1. No shuttle service to town centre 2. Very poor breakfast choices as well as no alacarte menu 3. Not a fan of plastic throwaway cups and plates and plastic cutlery 4.no tea bags / service available in rooms / no milk for coffee which was supplied 5. Cardboard cups in e suite bathroom 6. Hotel on net gives uptown appearance/ it's way off and noisy surroundings so close to Main road.... 7. And one has to pay for Tv And this comes under the "Hilton" umbrella

There on business

Pros: Dog mushing park
Cons: Close to the elevator and no upgrade offered for diamond member. Not even free water!!
Location: Close to freeways and downtown
Front desk staff offered good ideas of where to eat including silver gulch out in Fox. There were very enthusiastic girl's hockey team there so I'm sure much noisier than usual. For out of state travelers a page telling why you plug in a car and under what conditions this should occur would be helpful.

fine hotel, nice pool, a little too crowded at times in the pool and they ran out of hot breakfast every morning.

Great Service!
Posted Jan 14, 2013
All of the staff at the Hampton were so friendly and helpful. They always said hello and asked how your day is going and if you needed anything. They have a good breakfast with different options daily and they make cookies in the afternoon! The rooms were very clean. There is not a thing I have a complaint about.

Decent hotel, good for business and vacation travel

Pros: Soft beds, warm and clean rooms.
Cons: Housekeeping was a big erratic. My travel companions had noise issues in their rooms.
Location: 5 minutes from downtown Fairbanks.
Very comfortable, close to downtown Fairbanks and easy access to local sites. Rooms were clean and warm (this was the end of February and I was always quite comfortable), and the beds were very soft. Facilities include a heated pool, gym, and laundry. Vending machines are on each floor. There's breakfast service until 10:00 am. Food wasn't *extremely* high quality but was more than adequate and varied enough that I could always find something to eat. The times at which the rooms were serviced was somewhat erratic (I had chatted with the manager, apparently they have some problems keeping good staff). Noise varied: my room was next to the elevator & vending and I couldn't hear it, and had no problems otherwise. However my traveling companions had some noise issues with their room refrigerator and AC.

Very helpful and friendly staff, not luxurious but comfortable and well conditioned. Will definitely stay there again if we make a second visit.

A MUST STAY
Posted Jan 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is the best Fairbanks has to offer! Great location with shopping mall and food across the street. Staff helpful and friendly. The hot tub and pool was what the doctor ordered. Nice open and sit down in comfort continental breakfast to start your day. If your looking for a night to get away or your planning a vacation this is the hotel to stay!!! 2 thumbs up
