The beauty of this accommodation is the location by the river. I was there just before seasons end and the trees were turning golden along the riverbanks. Each cabin had a lovely flower ball decorating the entry, it was perfectly relaxing.

We spent one night here on our way to Chena Hot Springs. The hotel paid for a cab to pick us up at the airport after midnight and to take us back the next day to get a rental car. They contract with a cab company when their shuttle is not working. Room was clean and quiet. We did not get up in time to eat breakfast. The lobby decor is interesting and very Alaskan.

"The most amazing, clean and affordable in all AK!"
Upon arriving to resort, don't be fooled by the older downtown area. The resort in one of the most clean, upscale places that AK has to offer. I felt very safe on the premises. Beautiful restaurant, lounge, boutique, and a huge real stuffed bear in a glass display case. They offer a day pass to a gym with everything you could ever want including a water slide, rock climbing, sauna, racquetball, tanning beds. I mean really. Included. YES....All for what?? Sorry I can't say in this review. SO LOOK IT UP...They also offered free shuttle service around town and to many sight seeing attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer and not just passing through. A little more $$ you can have a 1 or 2 bedroom with full kitchen. PLEASE look this one up on line... NO JOKE... AWESOME.... TELL A FRIEND AFTER YOUR NEXT STAY... Also offer a gourmet buffet from 6am-9am at a great price. It was off the hook and over the top.
We stay ay this place only one night an according of our trip on Alaska, but it was the best accomodation.
Exellent views, beautiful house with very clear rooms and fitted curves old items, great breakfast and very warm and gracious host.
This small hotel is a former B&B, but no longer serves breakfast. I found it to be cozy, clean, and comfortable. Rooms are in several buildings which gives the feeling of a privacy, some have shared baths. It feels like home. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, TV, and attractive, comfortable furnishings. Coffee is available in the main office along with a large table and kitchen. Rates are lower in the non-summer seasons. I stayed for four nights in October, and was self-sufficient, requiring little support from the staff. During the winter, towels and sheets are changed at the end of your visit, or every five days. I found this to be a casual, comfortable, delightful place to stay and will book it again whenever I go to Fairbanks.
