disappointed at the breakfast they servedPosted Jul 2, 2013
Pros: the overall look of the hotel
Location: University of Alaska Museum of the North; Gold Dredge 8 (fun activity)
the overall look of the hotel was OK. It was not a new hotel, but it was decorated with lots of pretty flowers, which was good....however, I was kinda of disappointed at the breakfast they served...

Really nice Fairbanks hotelPosted Jul 1, 2013
Location: Near downtown and main public transportation terminal.
This hotel was everything we required. Convenient to downtown. Nice breakfast. Pleasant staff. Free transportation to train and airport. Quiet. Room was clean and comfortable.

Full service hotel with a smile!Posted May 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. The in house Pub & Restaurant, Tubby's, is a GREAT feature. Good food, good prices and all the latest sports on Tv -- if that is what you want. Great conversation at the bar if the sports aren't your thing! Overall this is a very comfortable hotel and the newly re-done kitchenettes are great. Two burners and a FULL size fridge are just perfect... (and a microwave and coffee pot). Breakfast is simple and good - waffles, cold & hot cereal, juice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bages, toast etc. Downtown is just a short walk away and you pass the main bus depot. Bus line schedules and maps available in hotel - and they are fairly easy to understand. Great place to stay. THANK YOU.

The furnishings and decor are a bit dated and tired but the staff is friendly and helpful and it was worth the price. I would stay again.

A very comfortable experiencePosted Apr 7, 2013
Pros: Good food, comfortable beds and rooms, wonderful people
Location: The Regency is immediately adjacent to Steese Highway and Airport Way, which made it very convenient to find, and to travel elsewhere.
For our needs, we could not have asked for more. The people were very friendly and helpful; the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained; the free breakfasts were nice, and the food we had at other times from the in-house restaurant (Tubby's) was very good. The Business Center made it easy to do web check-in and obtain our boarding passes for the flight home, and the in-room wifi also worked well. Finally, we preferred to stay in a place which had a somewhat "rustic" feel to it, and the Regency had enough of that to make it feel "Alaskan" without sacrificing comfort or quality. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice Home Away From Home!Posted Apr 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was my first stay at the Regency and I loved it. The place was nice and clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was perfect. I enjoyed the continental breakfast! It was nice waking up every morning to waffles. I'd definitely recommend the Regency to anyone.
