“Third time at the Fairbanks WestMark”

This was my third time at the Westmark Fairbanks. I was extremely satisfied with the service of the hotel. Only dissatisfaction was the quality of the connential breakfast. It did not have the variety of my last two stays. The staff at the breakfast was great.

“Very good hotel”

Very comfortable room, good services (gym, vending machines...). Despite the crowdedness in the hotel, the staff were very attentive and helpful.

“Place for me in Fbx”

I've stayed several times while visiting my daughter, a student at UAF. If the neighbors were noisy, I was moved to a quieter area of the hotel. The staff is always accommodating. It's the best location and the best price for me.

“By Fairbanks standards, as good as it gets”

Realize that Fairbanks is rather Spartan by lower 48 big city standards. The Fairbanks looks rather plain from the outside, but the rooms are quite nice. The staff is friendly and helpful, the location is good. A small bar downstairs is a nice place to stop in for a nightcap (if night ever comes). I was all around very pleased and at expedia prices, this place is a terrific bargain.

“Great Place to Stay”

Undoubtly, the best place to stay in Fairbanks from everything else we saw. New, clean, very nice rooms. Restaurants had excellent food and service. Would definitely stay here again.

The Westmark was great. I think they've recently renovated, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful! My stay was very comfortable, and the staff was helpful. The price was right, too. So much was within mere walking distance from the Westmark-- I didn't have to spend much on transportation.

Nice hotel although I do agree with many other travels that the rooms are a little small. Shower was strong and hot but the floor could have been cleaner in the bathroom. Although the beds were very comfortable, I wish they would have been a queen and not double. I also would have liked a mini fridge in the room. It would have been convenient during the 11 days we stayed there. But I was happy with the laundromat. Clean and reasonably priced. I didn't have a laptop w/me so I don't know about the wi-fi service. But they do have 2 computers in the lobby for guest, which was helpful looking up things to do. We had the continentnal breakfast a few mornings which was pretty good. And ordered breakfast a few mornings which was excellent. We also ate at the Red Lantern and it delicious. All in all we found the staff very friendly, the hotel nice and would definitely stay here again.

“Great Place to Stay”

Surprisingly, this is one fo the cheaper hotels in Fairbanks. It is also one of the nicest. Try and stay in the taller of the two towers. I stay there every time I go to Fairbanks.

Lovely Suites, excellent resturants, on the spot phone requests....and charming Breakfast Buffet. We will select this hotel over and over again.
