just OK for a short overnight stayPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: close to freeway
Cons: Needed more linens, more soap, newer beds, cleaner carpet & continental breakfast was only coffee with a pre-packaged danish.
Not just a reflection on America's Best Value but it seems the Cordelia-Fairfield CA area is low on standards of hotel upkeep. This is the second year in a row to experience less than average accommodations. Last year was a Days Inn.

Roadtrip StopoverPosted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: Location. Clean. Quiet. INEXPENSIVE!!!!
Cons: Put a shower head in the shower. Have a coffee maker in the room, or one in the lobby. Actually have the free breakfast available.
Location: Next to a steakhouse. Across from a minimall with Raleys, Starbucks, and other shops. It is less than one minute from the I-80 exit.
We arrived late in the evening, and the booking was already reserved for late check-in and that was one less thing to worry about. Lobby was closed, checked-in at a window (made it feel like a cheap motel). Room was ready, clean, and organized. We got two queen bed room, and beds were firm (not saggy or lumpy) and clean, both a definite plus. A/C worked great, room got cold fast. TV was OK, didn't use it much. No hairdryer for my companions to use, and no flatiron, but that's OK. Room fixtures definitely dated but functional. Everything worked. Room was quiet (and so was the A/C). Area is quiet (despite being right next to Interstate-80). Discovered all the places in Fairfield just about close up at 10:00PM, which is a new thing (we are used to Nevada's 24-hour bars and restaurants). Location was quiet. No random people walking thru the parking lot, despite there being no gate/fence/wall and no obvious security. Only real issue was shower had no shower head. It was like trying to shower under a gushing torrent of water from a fire hose, not a good experience. Hot and cold running water was available instantly (no waiting for hot water from the tap). Would have been better if the the advertised Continental Breakfast actually existed. And there is no coffee maker in the room or in the lobby. Had to go to Starbucks (!!!) across the street for caffeine fix. Checked out early, simple keycard drop at the same lobby window where we checked in.

Torture trying to get extra towels. Only given two towels for a two queen bed room, five people staying. The washers were not working, the main reason we were excited to book here after being on the road four days.

This hotel's location is step away from Texas Roadhouse. Very close big box stores, Starbucks etc. Right off the freeway. Great priced hotel.

Hotel Not As AdvertisedPosted May 17, 2015
Pros: The price
Cons: See above comments
Location: See above comments
Hotel was in an growing area, nice to be able to walk to grocery stores, food chains, and close to gas stations. The continential breakfast is: coffee, orange juice and a small bagged pastries. No microwave in any rooms, only in the lobby, not after hours. The same with the ice machine.. Minimal plugs in the rooms, one at the sink area, one behind the tv, that all.. Air-condition leave a lot to be desired, some work, some don't, some so-so. Very difficult for travelers.. I rented three rooms for workers and all reported the same.. Sorry America's best value, you failed on this one

Was not happy with the service of the front desk. They were not accomidating when they showed my reservation was cancelled even tho I still showed it wasnt. Made for a bit so great experience on my first visit. The room was fine, didn't mind the sleeping quarters.

Reasonably priced, good location.Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Convenience and price. Booked through Expedia for a great rate.
Cons: Torn carpet in the dressing area. Microwaves or even coffee maker would be a great addition.
Location: SF 1 hour; Sacto 30 minutes; 6 Flags 20 minutes.
Room was adequate. Did have a small refrigerator, but no microwave. A good steakhouse is right across the parking lot, moderately priced. Huge, very delicious hamburgers, cooked to order. Choose your own steak from the display. Right off Interstate 80, but a little tricky to find the entrance. Look for the Texas Roadhouse, and the motel is right next to it. Being close to the freeway, the traffic can be noisey. Raley's grocery store and several other take-out places across the street in the strip mall. Only an hour from San Francisco, 20 minutes from Six Flags Vallejo, 30 minutes to Sacramento, Travis AFB nearby. If you're in town during the week, this is an economical place to stay and visit the Jelly Belly Factory, the Premium Outlets in Vacaville (9 miles north).
