Dated and smelly

Posted Mar 28, 2015
While this isn't exactly a high traffic, tourist destination - we still expected Best Western standards. The room smelled like an old smoking room and we had to run the A/C fan all night to keep the air as fresh as possible. I wouldn't recommend.

Pros: location
-a floor lamp had to rest against a table or it would fall over. -the front door had large cracks in it.. In fact one morning I found a large black spider in the bathroom which is next to the door. -clean room but rather old furnishings etc.

Peaceful stay

Everything was great except for pancake machine. Kept breaking down, should get a waffle machine as other Best Westerns have.

Decent Room at a good price.

Pros: It was close enough to my daily destination, and had the amenities I wanted. It was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing major. Only small irritation was heavy chairs around the table, hard to move on the carpet. Wouldn't keep me from staying there again.
Location: It is close to Napa, Vallejo and the bay area. Lots of golf, amusment parks, shopping, sight-seeing. Jelly Belly factory, Budweiser facility.
The hotel was very accommodating with short notice when I needed to add a day to the beginning of my stay. Cleaning crew was on top of their game. Room had everthing I needed/wanted - microwave, refigerator, and tv that worked. Room was small but was ultimately useable.

As expected.

Pros: Location is close to the highway.
Cons: More comfortable beds. A fully stocked vending machine (completely out of water when I tried it). Notice of the tourism tax (Shocked to see on bill)
Everything was OK. The room was as it should be. I regret that I did not book a king as they were sold out when I arrived to check in. I didn't think 2 pm was that early but we had to wait 10 minutes for the room to be ready. It was a clean and quiet place to sleep after a wedding reception but not so comfortable I'd choose to stay several days. It was close to the highway, which I appreciated, so it was easy to get in and out. It was completly booked but I still found parking in their lot.
