Went to napa and it beats paying hundreds for a hotel. 15 min drive. Room is clean and decent. Good place to sleep. Would recommend especially napa on a budget

As expected.

Pros: Location is close to the highway.
Cons: More comfortable beds. A fully stocked vending machine (completely out of water when I tried it). Notice of the tourism tax (Shocked to see on bill)
Everything was OK. The room was as it should be. I regret that I did not book a king as they were sold out when I arrived to check in. I didn't think 2 pm was that early but we had to wait 10 minutes for the room to be ready. It was a clean and quiet place to sleep after a wedding reception but not so comfortable I'd choose to stay several days. It was close to the highway, which I appreciated, so it was easy to get in and out. It was completly booked but I still found parking in their lot.

Best Western Cordilia

Pros: The pleasant staff and the quality of housekeeping.
Cons: Weather strip under the door, quieter refrigerators.
The staff was efficient and enthusiastic. Even the housekeeping staff were pleasant. The only downside was the refrigerator which ran constantly. The room and bath areas were very clean. I'd stay there again and would recommend it do friends.

Better than expected

Posted Apr 28, 2014
The good: Room was clean and modern. Bed was super soft. Bathroom clean as well and the whole room just looked like it had a makeover within the last five years. Looked good. There was a microwave we used for restaurant left overs and a fridge and coffee maker in the room. They have a Continental breakfast room that was outstanding. Lots of muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, juice and pancakes just to mention a few items. Easily the most impressive part of the stay. The not so good: The air/con designed to keep the room at a comfortable 70 degrees was very loud and woke me up several times. Couldnt figure out a way to turn it off other than unplugging it and decided not to do that. They also need some kind of cable/wires management. The electrical/wifi/phone lines just under the table were a mess. I'd never guess fim the outward appearance this hotel would be so good.

Pros: Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Small updates to the bathroom. Water pressure was very weak in the shower.
Location: Fairfield. Restaurants and gas very convenient.
We did napa on a budget and had a great weekend. Hotel was quiet and beds were comfortable.

Ultra basic, old-ish fixtures, other issues

Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: LIKES: - Parking right in front of my room - Comfy mattress/pillows - Fridge and m/w in-room - Nice shower head
Cons: Clearly needs updating, but in terms of price this was at the lower end. If you're not at all picky, it will suffice.
Location: Lots of sustenance nearby, but access to Hwy 80 West was tricky. Make sure you get directions if you're unclear.
We all have different wants/needs/expectations for motels. Following are some specifics: DISLIKES: - Loud fridge noises, all night (I'd have unplugged it, but was storing leftovers) - No sheers on the windows for privacy -- only black-out drapes, which didn't really black out when needed. - Sound insulation was poor. I was on the 1st floor, and the (normal) movements of those above me came across loud and clear. Beams creaked, toilets flushed, muffled convos. Not sure if they could hear me. - No interior hallways here, so it was tough to sleep in -- you hear everyone loading their cars, kids dashing around, etc. The door chain (secondary to the main lock) was flimsy and would not engage, looked original, as in decades old. - I had a wake-up call set, but it never came. When I tried to reach the front desk using my mobile, no answer. Turned out their phone system had died that morning... but I thought they could have maybe sent a courtesy clerk to knock on doors in lieu of a call? I ended up late to my appointment. Also, the phone was situated across the room from the bed, so I had to unravel a tightly bound cord to get it to my bedside table. - Bath: Has old Corian-ish counters in bone color -- a personal peeve, it betrays the age -- and the sink area was located in the foyer, with the loo and shower/tub in a little room (cramped). - Breakfast and vending machines were in a separate building from my block of units, access from outside using keycards.

Impossible Internet

Posted Sep 21, 2013
The hotel was fine as long as you don't need internet. "High Speed" internet became bogged down and impossible to use during peak hours.
