“nice to stay, will go back again.”
hotel is recommendable. It was a nice stay. Excellent cust. service.
“Not bad”
Our stay here was reasonably comfortable. The room was clean. Abit small, but not bad. Nothing fancy but it served its purpose. I would recommend this to others if you don't mind the sound of the traffic nearby. We didn't have an ironing board, iron or hair dryer in our room but perhaps we would have gotten one had we asked. Didn't need one, fortunately. This hotel had extremely easy access to the freeway...practically right outside the door!
“hard to get to”
hotel is not too bad, but is in a seedy run down area of town. my wife never felt safe or comfortable. accessing the hotel from the north is very confusing. not much to do in the immediate area. had to get back on the freeway to go anywhere.
“What Could You Expect?”
It's right on I-80, so the noise is a little loud. And the motorcycle gang in the parking lot was not much fun when I was trying to get to sleep. But the room was clean enough, the TV worked, the shower had hot water, the fridge kept the food cold, the bed was okay, and the staff was polite. Not bad for Vallejo.
“Budget hotel, with an emphasis on budget.”
This hotel was functional, convenient (being that it was located just off the 80 freeway), and cheap, but one gets what he or she pays for. It was tidy and clean (aside from a stain on the inside of the comforter, which I never sleep with anyway), the AC worked well, and the shower head was high pressure. Now the cons: it was in a somewhat seedy part of Vallejo (not that there is an upscale part of Vallejo), but I never felt unsafe. Two lights in my room didn't function properly and there was no wireless internet as the internet site had stated. Also, the hot water in the shower only lasted about 5-7 minutes, so shower quickly. I guess the gist is this: if you are affluent and can afford to stay in Napa or Sonoma, do so. As a poor medical student, this place fit the bill, both metaphorically and literally.
“Quick Overnighter”
If you're looking for a quick overnighter, not spending much time in the room except to sleep, and not wanting to spend a lot of money, then you've found it. Located literally right off the freeway so it's not a quiet resting place. Not in the best neighborhood. It's an old "motel". They do the best they can under the conditions. I am a very picky person, but for the reason we were there, it made sense. Not a family vacation spot.
“not impressed”
the bed was super dirty and full of hair
“The room smells.”
The room smells.
“For those on a really tight budget”
OK for adults just looking for an inexpensive place to stay for the night.
“Blah”
For the price, the room was fine... but nothing to plan for. If you're just looking for a place to sleep it works. The owner/staff were very unfriendly, and actually locked us out of our room when we left for the afternoon (we had already paid for the next night). There is not an alarm clock, iron, or hairdryer in the room. You can get an iron from the office, but not an ironing board??? If you need to save money or are just stopping for the night it is fine. If not, spend a few extra and go elsewhere.
