Good for couples

Posted Jul 15, 2015
When we arrived we ask for the room and it was not ready (I know check ins are at 3pm but still this is the first hotel that didn't have it). If you have kids ask for a room as far as possible from the elevator. Our room was very clean, the beds were really comfortable and it has it's own balcony at this point I was happy... but oh surprise when I tried to take a shower there were no towels. In the morning we went to have breakfast and we felt dissapointed for the variety of the food. I won't be staying at this hotel. Not bad... not good either.

Clean and comfortable, very basic good value

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Proximity to Six Flags and pretty quiet, even for a Friday/Saturday night stay.
Cons: Adding some protein to the breakfast buffet would be a HUGE improvement! Even just hard cooked eggs, peanut butter and cream cheese!!
Location: Five minute drive to Six Flags!
Super 8 totally satisfied our need for a clean, comfortable place to stay that was close to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. We had the good fortune to be assigned a first floor "handicapped' unit, and so our room (and the bathroom) were HUGE! However, regardless of the size, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, it was clean, and had a microwave and empty mini fridge where we could stash extra yogurt from breakfast :) Breakfast was VERY basic - you can make your own waffles in a waffle iron, which was cool, but they only have one, which takes 2.5 minutes per giant waffle...so if there are 5 people in front of you and even one of them decides to hog the iron by making two in a row, it's a pretty long wait for one big waffle! The only other items available were cold cereal, toast and jam, packaged oatmeal, packaged cinnamon rolls and mini yogurts...along with coffee and an apple/orange juice dispenser. Like I said, VERY basic, but the price was right and it's literally a 5 minute drive to the park.

Economical, Clean, Comfy Weekend Stay

Posted May 5, 2015 on Hotels
We were there for a weekend family event. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfy, and the room was clean. The room included a continental breakfast which was nice. We had a little patio but there was no place to sit, and it is in a noisy location. There is a great new grocery store within walking distance with a Mexican Deli. It was a handy home base for us for the weekend. As we weren't there much, this turned out to be a good budget stay.

A place to stay

Posted May 5, 2015 on Hotels
The motel was clean, functional, suited our needs, and the price was right. It was convenient to Mare Island, ferry, yacht harbor, and the California Maritime Academy, but the neighborhood was not all that attractive. The motel is located in a cloverleaf loop. Still it met our needs and we would stay there again.

Nice but don't look too close

Posted May 4, 2015
The hotel was nice but...the rooms were not cleaned very well. Splatter on the walls (maybe soda or who knows what else), pee on the bathroom floor, dingy thin towels...I felt gross being there and didn't want to think about what I didn't see. The staff was friendly and their breakfast options were better than other hotels. The microwave and fridge in room are always helpful for just in case purposes. Overall, I would not stay there again.

Great palce for the Price

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Location, price and facilities. Rooms clean and modern...
Cons: Different color for the floor carpet but who cares any way...
Location: Close to many places to have fun and eat
From the front desk to the room it was nice... We came late, tie and hungry. The staff was very nice, the room very clean. Everything works in the room. we were able to decompress after a stressful day. Do not look for more, SUPER 8 is the WAY...

Horrible.....horrible

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Hotel staff did not know what they were doing when I checked in. They were going to charged my card for the room even though it was already paid for. There were no towels in the room when I checked in and it took them 45 minutes to bring me dirty towels!!!! They were grey not white, with strains on them. We were told there was a breakfast, but there was nothing in there. I would not have eating it anyway after seeing the facility!!!! My room key did not work, front desk staff did not seemed bothered by any complaints , simply said there is nothing I can do that is not my fault, instead of offering something they made excuses. I will never recommend this hotel too anyone!!!!!!
