Great historic bed & breakfastPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Great food, friendly staff
Location: Not in Gettysburg but close (within minutes), wineries, great restaurants
Nice, friendly staff, comfortable room, large bathroom. You are staying in a part of history. Delicious food available at convenient times. They even upgraded our room because a better room was available. We only returned home yesterday and I have already recommend the fairfield inn twice! If we get a chance to return to the area without our young children, we would definitely stay there again.

Do not reccomendPosted Jan 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
I bought this as a gift for my parents. After the first night, they just went home. There were big holes in the floor, and the only privacy in the bathroom were sheers over the windows. In the evening, the hotel attendents left and they were the only 2 people in the whole place.

Enjoyed the people at the inn, excellent breakfast, dinner was above average, but would not recommend the dinner theatre for adults.

This was our second stay at the Fairfield Inn. Lovely and historical Inn with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was average, but certainly adequate for our needs. Would highly recommend a visit!

Great spot for exploring the Gettysburg areaPosted Mar 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Fairfield and had a great visit in the bar with a veritable fountain of local knowledge. Fine breakfast the next morning and a uniformly welcoming staff. It''s an old hotel but that is part of its charm -- a very historic property, nicely run and convenient.

If you love History you will love The Fairfield Inn , but the staff is what will make you feel at home . They were very kind and accommodating-down to earth. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived and enjoyed an excellent dinner, room, and breakfast. Perfect way to start your tour of Gettysburg !
