“Quality Inn”

It was definitely off the beaten path! Pretty run down and the outer doors were not secure. The room smelled musty and old. It was fine for one night when passing through, but I would pay the extra money to stay somewhere better in the future. It reminded me of a "truckers motel".

Area recommendations

Erie, PA. Just a few miles down the road and more populated and variety of places to stay.

“Scary”

the front clerk didn't even acknowledge us until he was done on the phone, he could have at least made eye contact, the room had a 'funky' smell to it,, discovered black mold on the ceiling by the window and around the window, it had what appeared to be poop stains on the wall in the bathroom and the door inside the bathroom was filthy, we were told to park on the side of the hotel that had no lighting,,, so i took it upon my self to park on the other side where it was decently lit. the buffet was cold. the only positive thing i found was the shower pressure was great, overall if there had been somewhere else to go i would have,,

“Poor quality, moldy, and no phone service.”

This hotel was adjacent to the freeway so we were planning on good cell service (my husband needed that for his work), but alas, very sketchy service. We would have to go outside to get any bars on our phones, and at night, and not the best of neighborhoods. The free, greasy breakfast was served on paper plates and syrofoam cups. Crappy diner. Asked to be moved from our assigned room due to the amount of visible black mold. Yuck - never again.

Stay in the area closer to the mall - better phone service and at least a few restaurants to chose from.

“Never Again”

Good location and convenience were completely overshadowed by the overall poor condition of the hotel. Shabby appearance and lack of ongoing maintenance were the domnant impression. Hotel security doors were not locked and ice machines were inoperable. I expect much better from a national chain like Quality Inn.

“Reasonable motel to stay overnight”

We traveled from Chicago region to Massachusetts and selected this motel for the overnight stop, as its position and the room rate were suitable. Otherwise it was a blind choice, since we knew nothing about this hotel before. Nevertheless we were satisfied with the service and the room quality. The room was clean, equipped with TV set, coffee maker and the hair drier. The bathroom and the shower were o.k. It was quiet during the night, so that we could sleep normally.

“old, worn, wet carpet”

There were spider webs in the corners, rust in the tub, leaking tub all over the carpet, OLD/stained carpet. Very friendly b-fast staff-free hot b-fast! Would not stay here again.

“Good for price, great staff”

Checked in late and the guy behind the counter could not have been friendlier, had an answer for every little question, quick check in, etc. The hotel is older and needs an update, but the bed was comfortable and internet worked OK - not great, but OK, so it was worth it for a quick overnighter. Only complaint for me was NOTHING was open in 10 mins of the place for late night food.

Area recommendations

There's a gas station close by with very little to choose from, the gas was almost 20 cents over EVERY other station down the road so either get gas before or after leaving in the other areas, was a little amazed as it was nowhere near that price anywhere else I saw driving around Erie. So head east and there's a little area with a ton of food and cheaper gas, better stations, etc.
