This is an older place and looks it. The shower door had a big crack. The smell of cleaner was so strong that I went out and bought a candle. The water sounded like it was running all night. I didn’t feel entirely safe in the neighborhood.

Man checking me in could not communicate in English or work computer. Took over 30 minutes to get his daughter to do the check in. advertises coffee however only one package in room for 12 day reservation. Unable to but coffee at grocery store for the little pot that thanks the pouches. The front office charges $1.00 per cup of coffee. Breakfast was literally yesterday’s left over cold coffee, out of date milk and day old Little Debbie pastries. Man wanted to charge for wash clothes. Checked out early and relocated to a nicer place. Man yelled at me when I asked for a receipt. Not my fault he doesn’t know how to communicate. Refused to give me a receipt, had to call corporate to get it emailed to me. Same girl who said corporate told her to charge for coffee told me when she refused to give me a receipt she was the owner. Office smells like spoiled curry. Then they charged $25.00 more a night than my reservation thru Expedia. Horrible experience! Will never stay at another econo lodge ever.

The host was unfriendly and didn’t speak English very well. The property was not full and when I asked for a first floor room, he didn’t bother to look or try to accommodate, just said no. The floor in the room was filthy. One night walking on the bare floor and the bottom of my feet were black. Didn’t use the shower- it looked dirty too.

This place is the biggest dump I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The office staff was very rude and the office was locked. There was a sign with a phone number to check in. I called it and the middle eastern lady refused to come open the door and help us. Even though I had reservations. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. We ended up going somewhere else.

I had two grandchildren and selected this hotel based on route with pool and breakfast as my filters. It had neither. We arrived and no pool. Then no usable internet, no towels the place is run down. In the morning, no breakfast-2 hostess cupcakes & no cups for cold coffee, milk & juice. A complete misrepresentation. It was barely worth $50 and with these discrepancies, I never would have considered it. Needs much work.

Would not stay there again - don't support them!
The staff and front desk people were rude from the start and just got worse as my stay went on. The room where the bed was had a very clean and nice floor. That part was clean - the bathroom was not! The fact that when I asked for toilet paper for the second time - when I left for my meetings in the morning I stopped and said I need some and went back after seven hours and didn't have any - went back to desk on way to next meeting and asked again - the picture shows that they set the unwrapped roll on the holder - paying a hundred dollars a night for that type of service. Unacceptable.

Filthy room and rude customer service
This was the only available place to stay as we had not expected an overnight stay. We drove 30 miles out of our way off the interstate and arrived late. The room had an off-odor and the light switches were filthy. There were hairs on the sink and around the toilet. The mattresses were very thin. We decided we were too tired and would leave at first light. During the night, we got cold as there was only a thin blanket. The heating system did not work and in the morning noticed daylight coming through the wall around the heater. I went into the bathroom and saw ants everywhere. I quickly jumped into the shower only to have the hot water shut off as soon as my hair was wet. I was not only soaking wet but cold. I tried to call the front desk but there was no phone. When I complained in person, the young lady at the front desk yelled at me and asked me what did I expect. She said I can't complain when I stayed the night. She said this is "ant season." I asked if she wanted to see the photos of the grime, she said if she wanted to see it she could look in the room for herself. Her tirade lasted about 5 minutes. There was an expectation of breakfast but a sign next to the coffee apologized for the lack of one. There is a minimal expectation of cleanliness, hot water, and civility when you pay for a night's stay. None of these were met. I needed a shower after spending the night at this motel.

Scary and sad experience
Was given a smoking room even after I informed them I was with family. Front desk then moved us to a non smoking room and it wasn't much better. Leaky toilet, ants in the bathroom, stained sheets. Middle of the night a car crashed into our rooms Heater/AC which I would normally not say it was the hotels fault but I noticed the "pillars" to block cars from doing this we're not on our room like the others. Creaky ceilings. Other reviews about the hotel should be condemned were correct. Do not stay here unless it is your only option and be ready to have a hard night's sleep.

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which result in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. I will never stay in this dilapidated place again. Between the door not being safe, the pee on the bedspread and the tub mold and ants in the bathroom, it is the worst place I have ever paid to stay in. The”owner “ was disagreeable and would not exchange the decaf coffee for a regular coffee unless I paid a $1 for it. So our 2 day stay we had 1 cup of coffee. When I went to the official for the “continental breakfast” there was nothing. Not even toast or coffee for the paying customers. When we got into the room we found plenty of towels and 1 wash cloth.

Not so good
Room smelled like smoke and cleaning supplies left in room. Likely they did not get to our room before we went in. Refrigerator was noisy and we had to unplug it to sleep. The floors were dirty and turned our sox black. We did not realize that it was not cat friendly. It does say "no cats" in the rules, we just did not realize this until too late. EconoLodge did accommodate us for an additional $40 since it was already too late to cancel and make other arrangements. Overall, the management was not so friendly.

No staff entered room in 5 days. Complimentary coffee provided first day, nothing after. Linen was never exchanged for entire stay. Homeless camp outside window. Parking extremely tight, had to back out of space, past office to get to street. Street racing at night. Shampoo and conditioner never replaced. Phone didn’t work.

Dirty and not maintained. Employee was part of a group of people that blocked my black husband from going downstairs while flipping him off. Dirty and racist hotel. Do not recommend at all.

The walls are dirty, mold in shower area. The man at the front desk was rude. When I said I have a service dog, he gave me a dirty look. Had I not been exhausted from driving all day, I would have looked for a different motel. I canceled my future reservation at this establishment.
