small cold poolPosted Aug 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I purchased the room because I heard the pool is good for kids. I called ahead of time to see if my family could check in a couple hours early and was told anytime after 12pm would be fine. We arrived around 1pm and had to wait because we were told check in was at 3pm. Once we got settled in we tried to take our 1 year old swimming. The pool isn't much for swimming. The water was too cold for any of us to get in and is under 4' deep. There is a mini slide that older kiddos might have fun on. And we sat in the hot tub for a few minutes but ended up walking to the zoo next door. I'm not sure if it was housekeeping or a neighboring room but at 5am there was a door that kept slamming. The breakfast was good in the morning and we planned on trying out swimming again but our suits were still wet from the afternoon before...maybe because the fan in the bathroom didn't work. Check out is at noon but housekeeping let themselves in our room about 10am while we were packing up...guess we did not answer the door fast enough for them.

Great placePosted Aug 25, 2014
Location: zoo, shopping, eating, gas,
Wonderful staff very friendly and very clean, the rooms are huge, and the bathroom is huge too, plenty of room, the pool is great for young children. Teens not so much, no deep end or swim area for them to play, will book with them again no problem it is worth the stay!

Clean big rooms. Pool heavily chlorinated, stung our eyes. Great breakfast. Receptionist slightly rude, ignored me for a few minutes when I wanted to check in while she finished conversation with coworker

Nice Place but Could be more RelaxingPosted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Fargo may be booming but there is still nothing to do there. As for the amenities of the hotel: Room was ok (we were in a suite that wasn't much of a suite); Pool and hot tub were way over clorinated, my eyes were stinging just standing on the deck; Gym has only three pieces (eliptical, treadmill, and recumbant bike); Complimentary breakfast was good; Staff was very nice and professional. The huge lobby could use more seating and could be made to feel more like a lodge. There was no sense of a lodge inside the hotel.

Great place for kids!Posted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Huge rooms, love the bunks for kids you can fit a lot of people in those rooms. Bathroom was large also. Great breakfast and overall nice place to stay. People were nice too.
