“Nice quick stay”

Just a quick one night stay. Attendant when checking in was a little short with and seemed to hurry us out of the way. Room was clean and well stocked, even a fridge in the room! Our bed was so comfortable, definitely one of the best beds for a hotel room! The pool was nice, accompanied with pool table, three games, and several vending machines. The hot tub could have been warmer but the sauna was very nice. Breakfast was the average continental breakfast, nothing too special. Overall, great for a quick stay. =)

“Needed to call Egypt to get a room”

We spent only one night here...we wanted to stay a second night, but they kept telling us they were booked, but when we witnessed someone cancelling their stay for that same evening and we asked if we could have it we were still told that they were booked. I also didn't like the fact that when I first called the hotel directly to make reservations I was told they were fully booked.(hotel is 4 hours drive from my home) Then I went to Expedia online and found that there were rooms available at this hotel through Expedia. When I called Expedia's 1-800- number to make a reservation I found it odd when the person from Expedia had to ask what state Fargo was in...which spurred me to ask where was this reservations operator from Expedia located? I was told Egypt. I found it weird that I had to speak to someone in Egypt to book a room in a hotel that was so close to me. Ahhhh...Globalization. : ) It makes me wonder if I had my computer with me and tried to book again through Expedia for the second night if I could have gotten a room for that second night. As it was we had to go next door to Comfort Suites for the second night of our stay. Inconvenient, but at least we had a place to stay for another night.

“Satisfied customer!”

Nothing fancy but I would say this is a reasonably priced hotel for what you get. Rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable, duvet bedding very nice, with fridge, microwave & coffee maker. The included breakfast is good, lthough the eating area is small. Options include ...make-it-yourself waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, toast, cereal, etc. Location is good, close to West Acres Mall for shopping. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again for the price.

“AmericInn - Fargo”

The hotel itself was fine - it's a little noisy with traffic in the hallways. But, clean and comfortable. It's next to the freeway, but the noise wasn't noticeable at all, in my opinion. Housekeeping knocked 3 times between 9am and 10:35am when I finally left. I thought that was a little crazy, especially when I told them the 2nd time, at 9:40 that I'd be out in "about" an hour. They knocked before the hour was up and 4 housekeepers were standing outside my room waiting for me to depart.

“Rude Staff”

The check in clerk was rude, no "hello or welcome"... guess we interupted her tv watching.

“Neutral review”

The room was fine except for the caulking around the tub needed some maintenance/replacement. The breakfast area needed more seating.
