Nice stay

Hotel was clean quiet and spacious. Convenient to shopping and had a quick checkout staff kept some items in the freezer for me until next day. Very accommodating.

Limited rooms available in town

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Location, price seemed reasonable for the room until we got there.
Cons: I won't re-hash what I already wrote.
Location: Mall, restaurants, lots nearby...great location
Not a place I have stayed in years...now I understand why. I went looking for an ice machine and the staff member seemed clueless...directed me to where it used to be and then said to go upstairs right above that spot and there is another one. The Hot Tub was not! A baby would bathe in warmer water...my children said it was hard to tell the difference between the heat in the pool and the hot tub. They enjoyed the warmth of the other pool! The pool area was ridiculously cold. Our room was a pool-side suite and had two beds and pull out sofa. We pulled out the sofa to find a towel, rag and t-shirt under the bed. The room had been very poorly vacuumed as well.

Last room available and we found out why

Posted Mar 2, 2014
Dirty and run down...popcorn all over the floor by the bed and chip bags from the previous people in the cabinet...There was no water pressure to take a shower.

Great location, great staff, poor facilities.

Posted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Hotel staff were great and location was perfect for what we needed.
Cons: The pool facilities could be improved substantially- hot tub jets did not work and there was no steam room, even though the site says there is.
Location: West Acres Mall in only a few blocks away, as is the Scheels with a Ferris Wheel, and the University of Minnesota Moorhead.
The hotel staff were excellent and the location was perfect- extremely close to West Acres Mall and all the main shops and restaurants. The room was large and the beds were quite comfortable, as well as a good shower and great shower amenities provided (shampoo, lotion, make-up remover, etc.). However, the pool was a let down. We could find no trace of a steam room, like the website says, and the hot tub jets did not work at all. The rooms were also far from soundproof and we were awoken multiple times during the night by other guests running through the hallways and talking loudly.

Pros: close to mall?
Cons: felt dirty and our cot that we paid $5 for didn't fit in the room properly
Location: close to the mall
Well the carpet in the rooms felt dirty on my bare feet and you could just smell the age and I just knew the blankets and carpets needed to be shampooed. Also there was no complinmentary breakfast and expedia told me whe I was booking that there was so that was a disappointment.

Makeover Needed!

Posted May 25, 2013
Pros: King size bed & couch and the table.
Cons: Small room and winding halls. Pool looked too dirty to try swimming. We stayed out of it.
Location: Fargo. Location was fantastic and getting away from home.
Way overated. We anticipated the pictures on the web to be of reality. Very wrong. Very small room. Bed was great & furnishings, but outdated.

overpriced for what you get

Posted May 19, 2013
Pros: pool
Cons: price and smoking staff in front of hotel
Location: location was ok
when we arrived we passed a car parked right in front of the hotel with staff sitting in it smoking. we walked in behind some hotel staff and found it inconsiderate that they didn't hold the doors open for us. the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. both my wife and i woke up with very sore backs in the morning from the bed(too soft). this hotel was very, very over priced for what you get. you can get nicer for far less in fargo. when we checked in another guest was questioning the price as well.

Pros: breakfast for $2.99 was ok
Cons: run down, dirty halls

My experience

Posted May 22, 2012
Pros: nice room
Cons: zero breakfast and confusing.
The elevators were not marked so to even find our room was difficult. when we asked staff for help they just pointed. no cont breakfsast and coffeemaker could only do one cup at a time
