A decent "no frills" hotel.Posted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Staff were very pleasant, smiling and eager to help out. Hotel cost quite reasonable.
Cons: Bathrooms desperately need updating. No hair dryer. WiFi needs to be expanded for certain!! No auto plug in.
Location: Close to the Village Inn Restaurant (excellent family dining) Walking distance to Walgreens, a Chinese Food Rest. Car wash, gas station.
I had no big complaints. My only issues were that the bathroom was very old and very small. They do have WiFi although they have the bandwidth throttled down so far that it's not good for much other than checking your email and reading the news. Impossible to watch Netflix or to do any downloading of any sort.

It Got The Job DonePosted Sep 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had reserved a room with another hotel for the wrong date. Of course there was a big agricultural event that week and I was told all area hotels were sold out. Thank goodness for smart phones! I went online and booked this hotel. Was it my preferred type / quality of hotel? No, but it got the job done. If I have a clean room, I can stay anywhere. We (husband and I) were only there for an overnight stay. The front desk person looked more like someone who might have been a guest, but he was helpful, even making recommendations for a local pizza place (good suggestion!). The room was spacious and accommodated our needs for the night. The only two quibbles: Remote didn't work, and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. There was a used soap bar from the previous guest stay (Simple solution: Use your own soap or the unwrapped soap provided) and the bathroom floor could have been swept a little better (other people's hair...ick!). Overall, the price was right and it got the job done. The difference between the hotel I had selected and this hotel was about $60-- the equivalent of a tank of gas and a cheap lunch. It worked for us.

Not CleanPosted Aug 6, 2013
Cons: Everything, Price and clean it up,
Location: Was visiting my daughter in the hospital,
As I walked into the room I wanted to leave, Couldnt believe I paid 60 dollars to stay here, Wish I would of looked around, I booked on line so I didnt know their were several options close to this hotel, Their is no fridge, Which for the price I was suprised, no shampoo no nothing, just small bars of soap, and I noticed their were wiskers on the sink, And their advertising card was very dirty, I washed my hands after i looked at it, Free wifi but they neglected to give me the pass code,

Flea Bag MotelPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: It was very affordable.
Cons: Most everything else! Start with putting the right size toilet seat on the toilet!
Location: It was in a decent location, right off of the highway, near several businesses.
This would be a good place tor a serial killer to bring their victims! The bed was uncomfortable, the room was small, the air conditioning was barely adequate. Also we reserved a smoking room, and initially were given a non-smoking room. The clerk was very nice about it, and switched us immediately. I would not stay here again.

Inexpensive and convenientPosted Jul 5, 2013
It's possible to get a room at the Grand Inn with little notice even when others are booked solid. Clean room, friendly staff, no frills. They advertise Continental Breakfast but we never found it. It's fine for the price. Easy to reach location.

Cheap place, just to sleep, not enjoy.Posted Jun 3, 2013
Cons: Marijuana smell.
Location: Location was good near freeway for easy access. Starbucks not to far away, which you will need since the coffee at the hotel was terrible.
Despite the no smoking signs, the hallway smelled terribly of marijuana smoke. There was no shampoo or conditioner samples. Beds was subpar, but okay. Desk chair was very uncomfortable. Cleanliness was reasonable. Continental breakfast was a joke. Coffee was bad.
