Better than average complimentary breakfast.Posted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: This HoJo is convenient to Fargo's lively downtown district.
Cons: The covers on the breakfast "hot servers" are not hinged, forcing guests to place them "somewhere" while filling their plates. Not always hygienic.
Location: Downtown Fargo. Good location for our stay, as we had a relative in a nearby hospital.
Older hotel with nicely renovated rooms. My major complaint would be the lack of electrical outlets. I need to travel with a cooler (AC) for ice packs, for medical reasons, and a C-PAP (also AC). Phones and tech devices also need charging, especially when travelling for a family emergency. Maybe power strips would help?

Nice hotel. Close to places where we needed to be.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: The convenience
Cons: Slow bathtub drain
Location: We spend most of our time in downtown Fargo and the hotel was within walking distance to so many places. That was great.
We met our daughter and her family in Fargo for a weekend and the hotel and the room met our needs. The pool area was great for the kids and it was nice having a restaurant attached. Overall, it was decent for the price we paid through Expedia.

Nice for the pricePosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Room cleanliness and noise level
Location: No time for tourist things (helping with a move)
Nice hotel for the price, good location but our room needed a little more attention. I had to wipe off sticky residue from the night stand and TV stand. ( Possibly just a small pop spill), floor could have been vacuumed better ( lint, dust). Building, not too sound proof (able to hear loud talking in hall, door slamming) Front desk staff very friendly. Hot breakfast good. Over all experience Good and would stay there again after checking room cleanliness.

Lucky it is where it is!Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The bed was actually comfortable and seemed of decent quality.
Cons: The staff. The room fit-out. There is not much to be done with low ceilings, but with fresh and light paint, and sheer curtains would help.
Location: Downtown Fargo is walking distance and offers pretty cool restaurants, bars, and a few galleries.
This is an old facility with low ceilings, tired furnishings, and staff without any obvious motivation (or desire) to please guests. When the cleaning staff completely missed our room on our second day (we were out of the room from 8am to after 5pm, so it wasn't that we were disrupting their flow from room to room), all the front desk clerk had to say was that she would make a note for the next day and hung up. As we were checking out the next morning, that was not much.

Old and OutdatedPosted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very disappointed in this hotel. It was old and in rough shape. The pool was ok but the "game room" was a joke. Did not like the fact that the bathroom in our room was extremely small and the only sink was in there. Location was kind of out of the way and would only be good if you were attending an event at the Civic Center. I would not stay here again.

Not like the old HJ from back east that I rememberPosted Sep 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was okay cleaner than most, the location was difficult to find, nothing was around it that was open. The room was not as clean as I would have liked it. The bathroom around the tub was dirty.

Old and a little run downPosted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was scared when I walked into the building to check in, but once to the room the beds were comfortable and rooms had been reasonably updated.
