Quiet and comfortable

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Quiet and inexpensive.
Cons: The carpets in the halls were old and the bathroom could use some attention in the corners, at least.
Location: Handy to get to.
The motel is rather old and not in the classiest neighborhood, but the staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. I slept soundly; not a noisy place.

Pros: nothing

the carpet was very dirty. the bottom of my socks was black from walking around on the carpet. the picture hanging in the room probably has never been dusted or the glass cleaned.

filth!!!!

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Cons: CLEAN IT UP
It was a filthy place. The bathroom floor was so dirty we had to put towels down to walk on it. There was much grime build up in the corners...looked like it had never really been scrubbed. The room smelled like sewer gas when we got there. Very disappointed for what they charged. The breakfast was a joke....all carbs...waffles, cereal and rolls. Did not see any fruit or protein at all. Went next door to McDonalds to eat breakfast. Only good thing to say is the staff was very nice. Will never stay there again.

Don't know if savings was worth it

Posted Nov 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
I chose this hotel because it was very close to family that I was visiting and I would save about $50 per night over the next closest. Unfortunately the room smelled like feet, the fabric on the chair was starting to tatter, the blanket on the bed had rips in it and the towels were very thin. The breakfast was okay offering cereal, waffles, mini muffins, danishes and apples. In the end I most likely will not stay here again if/or when I return to Fargo.

Smelly room and not close to conveniences

Posted Oct 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have allergies to dogs and mold. The room smelled of both. The bed was made each day, but the room was not cleaned and I'm not sure when the floor was last vacuumed.

Decent place to stay

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: It was clean and staff was friendly.
Cons: Needs an upgrade in furnishings and carpets.
Location: The location is far from the usual shopping areas.
The hotel is slightly out of the way. It is not close to the main shopping areas around West Acre Mall. It is a fair distance off the freeway and is difficult to enter if you are travelling west as it is on the south side of a divided highway. You have to turn before or after and go down an industrial street to reach the hotel. Much easier if you are approaching from the west. The desk staff was very friendly and was able to tell us how to get to the shopping areas without travelling all the way back to the interstate. The room was a typical hotel room. It was clean and furnished with the essentials. The furniture is somewhat dated as is the rugs throughout. The bed was comfortable and provided a decent nights sleep. The bath towels were older and not too large but were clean. The continental breakfast was exactly what you would expect. The basics. They did have an "egg omelet" but it was cold. This was a decent place to stay for a night while on transit elsewhere. I would consider staying there again as the price is reasonable.
