Smelly room. Damp pillows. Bathroom wasn't cleaned between stays. Tiny room. Very disappointed.

Red river lodge

For a place to lay your head at night and a decent continental breakfast, I would say go for it. Not best place I've stayed but far from worst also. Staff I dealt with were kind and courteous.

Budget friendly

Pros: Comfortable beds; clean rooms, location, good parking.
Cons: Availability of toiletries - larger soap!
Location: Close to West Acres Mall, Paradiso (Mexican restaurant); all big box stores and chain restaurants are close by.
The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. Few amenities (e.g. coffee is in the lobby not in the room; no pool; minimum fitness equipment available), however the hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet and affordable place to stay, this might be a good choice. The property has no elevator, so is more challenging for those with mobility issues, or lots of heavy luggage. You also will want to have your own toiletries - there was only soap and a very small tube of shampoo available.

This hotel was horrible. Would never stay again.

I was extremely disappointed by the hotel. The hotel was run down and the common areas smelled with a foul order. I was afraid to sleep in my bed. The towels were wet, and there were pubic hairs on one of the towels. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I didn't even stay for the continental breakfast.

The hotel receptionist was rude. The room was dirty and smelled of mold. Terrible customer service and poor continental breakfast.

No big deal.. Wouldn't stay at this hotel for a week or longer. I only stayed for 2 nights to do some shopping.. but not a very luxurious hotel. Below average but does the job, I guess.

Location: Good location but cleanliness and condition left much to be desired.
Stayed at this hotel for a last minute trip to Fargo. You clearly get what you pay for - it was a place to sleep and shower but there is much room for improvement. If you are looking for a deal, don't have high standards and can deal with pee all over your toilet seat after you check in, this is the hotel for you.

Cons: Breakfast
We got there late and left early. Hotel does not have a lot of extras but gave us a good nights sleep.

Pros: location was good
Cons: hotel needs renovations
Location: location good, shopping and restaurants close by
staff at desk were friendly. Housekeeping could not speak or understand english when asked for extra towels. The exercise room was in poor condition with only 2 pieces of equipment (bike did not work) and tv was removed. room was dated but clean
