Cheap hotel close to west acres mall

Posted Jul 14, 2014
We stayed there for two nights in July. We stayed on the first floor towards the back of the hotel. The door to the outside slams every time someone's opens it which we found to be disturbing but other than that, hotel feels safe, and clean. They also have comfy beds.

Decent hotel

Posted Jul 13, 2014
The place was decent if all you were doing was sleeping there. Seemed run down-outdated. Overall it wasn't terrible.

Never again

Good price but you get what you pay for. Dirty linens and showers. Thin walls. Sewer smell.

Smelly room. Damp pillows. Bathroom wasn't cleaned between stays. Tiny room. Very disappointed.

Red river lodge

For a place to lay your head at night and a decent continental breakfast, I would say go for it. Not best place I've stayed but far from worst also. Staff I dealt with were kind and courteous.

Budget friendly

Pros: Comfortable beds; clean rooms, location, good parking.
Cons: Availability of toiletries - larger soap!
Location: Close to West Acres Mall, Paradiso (Mexican restaurant); all big box stores and chain restaurants are close by.
The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. Few amenities (e.g. coffee is in the lobby not in the room; no pool; minimum fitness equipment available), however the hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet and affordable place to stay, this might be a good choice. The property has no elevator, so is more challenging for those with mobility issues, or lots of heavy luggage. You also will want to have your own toiletries - there was only soap and a very small tube of shampoo available.
