The water in the tub wouldn't drain when we took showers and the toilet plugged up. My son planned to use the pull out and there were no sheets/blanket/pillows available....he slept with clothes draped over him to stay warm. In all fairness it was late at night and he didn't want to call down to the desk, but we shouldn't have to if that is an amenity it lists. The toilet paper holder was broken off the parts in the bathroom vanity drawer. It was a lot of money for these things not to be taken care of. The staff was very courteous and friendly - especially the dining room staff

Hello, I have a few questions. Why not call the desk that's what they are there for. Have had full houses things happen. I know we keep full sheet set in the closet for the pull-out sofa. We here to help always however if something is overlooked. It can be fixed if we are made known of the issue. I would never not say thing and not give the hotel the opportunity to fix issues. They is also why we are here. It happens at the 5 star hotels too. I am glad the staff was friendly as they should. I do apologize for your experience and I have spoken with the housekeeping department to make sure this was a one time issue.

I liked the location of the hotel. We brought our girls to Disney on Ice and I liked that it was so close to the Fargodome and some nice restaurants. Our room however was very dirty. There were chips bags, candy wrappers, and empty juice boxes in the dresser drawers. The carpet was very dirty under the pull out coach. The pull out coach itself was very dirty too with dried candy stuck to it. Also we tried getting ahold of the front desk guy several different times before having any luck to get extra bedding and towels.

For the price we paid we should not have mold and rust stains in the shower/tub preventing us from using the tub. Property has definitely gone down hill. Garbage around the entrance and parking lot. So many options especially at this higher price point.

Location is good. The hotel itself is in fairly good condition. A few thoughts. We had a double suite with living area in the center. The concept is great, but the execution not as much. The bathroom was not clean in our room. Outside temperatures when we were there were frigid and the automatic doors stopped working so guests had to open and close them by hand. The staff were unhelpful, there was no solution on their end, and their contribution was to place a note on the door informing guests that the doors weren't working, that we needed to open them by hand and finished with CLOSE THE DOORS. As they were frozen and covered in frost, without gloves it was difficult and painful to try to slide a stuck door with no handle, open and closed. I found it annoying, but manageable. However, at different times when we were coming and going, guests were leaving and arriving with luggage, small children, handicap issues, elderly, etc. all expected to deal with the circumstance with no assistance from the hotel staff. And it was below freezing weather they were standing in trying to open and close doors with all the babies, luggage, etc. We helped when we went through the doors, but to say the least, we were unimpressed. They do have dishes, etc.in the kitchen area, and it gives the tone of Airbnb in a hotel format, but for the amenities and stay, I found it far overpriced. It felt like an AmericInn with a kitchen area concept,

After we had gotten unpacked and settled in, I went into the restroom area, and there was hair everywhere. We asked them to send housekeeping down to clean it and they didn’t have anybody in the evening so we got a vacuum and cleaned it ourselves. There was also urine on the part of the toilet. They offered to move us, but we didn’t want to repack all of our stuff.

Once is enough
This hotel needs to update many things. Our towels were very worn, the shower curtain wasn’t long enough and did not stay closed. Stains on the couch and on the comforter. My daughter dropped something and found a large pill capsule on the floor that was not ours. Looks nice on the outside but very worn down in the rooms.

Room was great except that the door didn’t lock when closed. Had to lift on the door knob to click it close. Bathroom has rust stains around the tub.

The good things were comfortable bed, spacious room, convenient location. Unfortunately, there were several hairs on the bathroom floor, even after we complained and they cleaned it the next day, there were still hairs. The hot tub didn’t work which we were specifically wanting. I’m not sure if we would have used it anyway considering it didn’t look clean or like it needed painting. The front desk guy was not very friendly. I’m sure he works a lot but being pleasant would be nice.

Overall stay was good. Breakfast was nice, room was clean. The pool area is dirty. Needs a clean badly. Stuff all over the pool deck. I think the guy who maybe was the manager could have smiled once. Longer dark hair. I don’t think he smiled once and I passed him several times in the lobby. I never said anything about the personalities while at the hotel and as soon as we walked out my husband looked at me and said “wow. They are all a friendly bunch.” Sarcasm of course. I get it working for people is hard but these guys need to try a little. The breakfast lady was a gem though. Very friendly and kept on top of things.

Best hotel in North Dakota.
Fromt desk officers jessica and abigail made the stay 100%. They were professional and supportive througout out stay. Went overboard to resolve all enquiries and concerns. I really hope the organization would deem it necesary to consider both ladies for managerial positions in the bear future. This hotel experience is indeed 5*

The people who operate this Residence Inn are truly very nice people. I'm not sure how well they listen. On Wednesday when we arrived, we were fairly specific that we didn't need the room serviced until Friday with the exception of fresh towels and wash cloths. Seems simple enough. Thursday, no new towels and wash cloths. Had to pursue management to get some. On Friday, despite having talked to three people total to previously confirm, no one showed up to service the room. Had to go to management AGAIN to work it out and then barely got it done in the late afternoon. We stay in Residence Inns because we need to do our own cooking whenever possible (dietary restrictions) so when the kitchen wasn't stocked with the materials we've become used to at Residence Inns, it required yet another conversation with management to get what they knew we should have and I needed to follow a manger around to find the things. We were disappointed because usually Residence Inns can be counted on and this one simply fell short. Probably won't return.

Check in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The room, and pool area were clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent as far as continental breakfasts go. Would recommend and will be staying again in the future.

Great stay!
Check in was easy and staff was friendly. This hotel was very clean - rooms were nice and the locations is great. Just off the interstate and close to shopping and dining options. Teena enjoyed the pool and adults loved the hot tub and outdoor sitting area. Breakfast was well prepared and offered nice options. We would stay here again!
