Didn’t end up staying because when I searched for hotels in Champaign this one pulled up under Expedia so I selected it after that when I was getting ready to go to it I noticed it wasn’t in Champaign but farmers way it was too late because I paid already with no refund so I lost my money I will never use Expedia again

Extremely dirty. Bedding and towel not changed out after previous guests stay. Freezing in the room took at least 3 hours b4 it warmed up. Room are old and outdated.

Dissappointing
For a non-refundable reservation, this was sub satisfactory. Room smelled of cigarette smoke. The attendant did not find the reservation even though I contacted hotels.com to alert them of my late check in time.

This is very bare basic lodging; more a motel than a hotel. It was moderately clean; something sticky on the carpet in our room. The decor is very outdated. It took about 30 minutes to get to the U of I campus.

There is no beach. We wanted to stay where there was water to play in. This property says that it As a private beach. It is not any where near water. It is surrounded by houses. And roads. Not even a little creek to jump across.

Good stay
We had two rooms. The owner put us next to each other and they were ajoining rooms so it was nice for the whole family to be together. Little dated and rough on the outside but clean.

This property is very old and it smelled very stale. Even the blanket smelled. The water was smelly from not being used.

Bathroom in terrible shape. Shower curtain rod ready to fall down, one end had two screws out and third ready to give way. Toilet was loose at the base and would only flush completely every other attempt.

DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL!! I had to clean my own room
If I were Hotels.com, I would not put this property on your website for people to go to. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Hotel. I had to help the cleaning lady, clean my own room, after waiting in line for 40 minutes after the front desk gentleman continue to yell at the owner on the phone because there were no rooms cleaned and he had a line of six groups in the lobby. Once the owner arrived to the property, she saw that I was helping, clean my own room as it was late at night, and we were tired from traveling on the motorcycle for 10 hours that day. She said she would give me a credit and cop, my room for me, but I am not sure how to follow up with that. It was a terrible experience will never go there again.

The price was right but it needs updating. The air conditioner was so loud. It wasn't as clean as I would expect. The outside stairs were not very safe, steep, one railing. It was probably ok for those younger.

You get what you pay for and then some lol
If you know what you’re getting into then stay here but if you don’t RUN, find another place or sleep in your car! Yellow old towels, dirty sheets, paper thin walls, you can hear the whole conversations in the other rooms. I can list so many things why I would never stay at this hotel so do your family a favor and stay at a clean hotel not this one.

ok for 1 night but not for a longer stay. front desk was very cooperative and came to room to set up new tv. bed was outstanding, sofa was good, strange to have hallway open t o outside. be aware of the very steep and tall stairs to 2nd floor!

I have to say I did have a higher expectation. When I arrived, the room wasn't fully prepared, and the bed was a mess. There was black mold inside the folds of the shower curtain. The weather stripping around the door was falling off, and the door itself wasn't mounted properly. The space between the door and the door frame was large enough that you could see outside when the door was closed. The water pressure was practically non-existent. The general appearance of the building and rooms was in disrepair.
