Seemed aged and in need of a spruce up

Shouldn't seat people at 10am for a buffet that strictly stops at 10am

Very nice hotel. Clean and quiet.

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Very clean and upscale.
Cons: You're 12 miles from DFW. Have a shuttle.
I asked if the hotel had an airport shuttle when I booked and was told they did. When I landed at DFW and called for a ride, I was told they didn't have a shuttle to the airport. Not a huge issue, but it was $40 for a cab that I wasn't expecting to spend.

Attention to detail

Posted Aug 28, 2014
The hotel is lovely. I just wish they would invest in better mattresses. The beds we stayed at are the 2 queens, we have stayed here before, and this time again the beds are springy and bouncy. I can't sleep on these beds, I'm always tired the next day due to these beds being loud when you turn or toss. We come back for the pool, the pool is very nice, the fountain of water coming out the sides, lovely. And the prices are usually reasonable. To be real, how many hotels out there really wash the comforters, remotes, door knobs and glasses?

Beautiful hotel, terrible beds

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The staff goes to great lengths to make their guests comfortable. The pool and fitness facilities are great. The breakfast buffet is wonderful!
Cons: The mattresses and pillows.
Location: There is nothing close to this hotel. You have to get on the interstate to find anything - including food, gas stations, shopping.
This hotel is very nice and has lots of great amenities, but the beds are terrible. The mattresses are extremely hard and the pillows are the thinnest down pillows I have ever seen. If possible, bring your own pillow.

Pros: The location of this hotel is excellent. Very close to DFW and downtown, but far enough away to feel like you're out of the madness of the city.
Location: The hotel pool and gym are wonderful for just hanging out. We ate at a very cute family style Italian restaurant called "2 guys from Italy".
We were in town for a soccer weekend, This hotel is adjacent to DFW and the Dallas Texans soccer training facility. The food at the hotel was very good and the service was helpful and friendly, Although the hotel was busy, it's big enough to not seem crowded, We enjoyed a relaxing day by the pool and went to dinner at a nearby restaurant. It seems like you are out in the middle of nowhere, but just 5 min up the road is the Dallas Galleria and downtown is just a little further.

Recommend for the working class

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Classy atmosphere
Cons: HVAC in rooms
Location: Construction after 8p was very hard to get to hotel - but that was only 1 night
The only negative is that I could not get the room cool enough at night - but I am like a polar bear. The staff is so very friendly, from giving you a cold bottle of water when you come in from a run to the wine steward who gives a great pour. Room service was timely, servings generous size.

Great weekend get away!

So we informed the check in clerk that we were staying for a whirl wind honey moon and while we were gone he left us a wonderful surprise of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The facilities were so nice and the people were very polite. Will visit again.

4 nights, wonderful

I would say 5 star if the carpet in room was vacuumed, we found plastic tags from clothes maybe hard for vacuum to pick up but we have a 17 month old that explores. Also there was one specific restaurant staff server/host that was not nice, very pushy. But everything else and everyone was great.
