This was not a 4 star hotel but was clean and quiet. Proximity to riverwalk a big plus

Business week in FarmingtonPosted May 16, 2015
Pros: I received a very nice room rate for the week.
Location: The hotel is located right next to the River Walk. This is a must do when in town
Compliments to the hotel staff for providing a welcoming stay at the Red Lion.

Had a moldy smell, pool and hot tub were closed. Cleaning staff came in our room after we checked in, stated they were checking to make sure we had enough towels, yet only 2 towels in room and breakfast coupon missing from counter.

One of manyPosted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Big rooms, friendly staff
Cons: Better cleaning
Location: We went to Chaco Canyon. A must see in the area. We also saw the Aztec Ruins NHP. Very interesting. We found a good Japanese restaurant in town.
We stayed for two nights. The hotel was basically clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel. The rooms are large. The windows do not open so there is no fresh air. The cleaning staff is just okay. Next time we will try a different hotel. There are many to choose from in the area.

Nice for a older propertyPosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Location, helpful staff. breakfast
Cons: property needs a bit of updating
Location: The property is very close to the historic downtown. Also very close to just about any restaurant you could want.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, The room was clean - if a bit old and in need of updating. The Property backs up to the River with a lovely walk behind. There were several choices for breakfast and all where good.

Ok ServicePosted Feb 20, 2015 on Hotels
It was ok but the desk clerk was no help at all. Not only did he forget about or roll away he charged $117.00 on my credit card for the stay when I already paid Hotels.com. He said it was for my room incidental. A $117.00 room incidental?!

Needs a little workPosted Jan 27, 2015 on Hotels
Have stayed here before but never tried to go to the "fitness room." It was worthless. Two cardio machines that were broken and an old cable weight machine that needed some maintenance. The room was clean but there was an issue with the tub. It didn't drain correctly and there was water slowly seeping out the side. Again, I have stayed here before with no problems but this time got a room with an issue and tried to "workout" in the fitness room.
