Pros: It was in the area I visiting.
Cons: New firm mattresses, deep cleaning of the rugs and every room and the halls.
Location: Lots of restaurants; many state parks; swimming; canoeing; St. Genevieve, the first French settlement in Missouri, is about 1/2 hour away--beautiful!!
One of the beds had two dips (deep impressions)--bad for backs. I told the manager the accommodations would not work for me due to a bad back. He told me, "You should have made reservations in a new hotel with new beds then." I told him, "I expected the beds to be firm or at least without the dips and that I had made reservations on line and expected good mattresses." He allowed me to sit on the beds in 3 different rooms which proved to be much better and moved me to one of those rooms. He then told me that if my back was that bad maybe I should sleep on the floor. This, of course, was not an option as the carpet and the room didn't have that "clean" smell to it--kind of musty smelling. He let me know that I would not be getting a refund as I had checked in after 2 p.m.--their check-in time. He also said to let him know in the morning when he arrived at 8 a.m. if I wanted to stay the second night. After leaving the hotel around 3 p.m. that same day I contacted Expedia and canceled my second night. Expedia was gracious in giving me a $25.00 discount for my trouble to stay at Holiday Inn Express instead. Interestingly, Holiday Inn Express booked me in a third floor room which had been totally refurbished--like new!!! Yeah!!! I will NEVER go to another Super 8 again!!! Thank you Expedia for helping me out in a bad situation!!!

If it were refundable, when we walked in the lobby, we would have walked out! It smelled and dirty. In the room I took off my shoes and my socks stuck to the carpet. The bedding had an odor, too. I think Hotels.com should take it off their list. I wouldnt even give it a one star rating, but the least i could do.

The beds were horrible, out of the 60s I've gotten rid of beds better than these. The blanket in a nonsmoking had 2 burn holes and had to be 30 years old ugly brown and shredded. The carpet is newer and rooms were nicely clean.

Our experience was fine but the room needed some improvements. Toilet was uneven and coffee pot needed replaced. Counter top were stained. Bed was comfortable.

Conveniently located near food and shopping. Easy access from highway. Room clean, amenities small but adequate. Water hot, beds comfy. Best of all, the air conditioner motor was relatively quiet and smooth! A continental breakfast was pretty sparse. Overall a great price/deal for a sleepover while traveling!

The hotel is old and could use some work! Service is slow. The amenities were all you would need.

The hotel was a little rough around the edges. The pillows were lumpy, the mattresses were springy and the walls were very thin. It was clean, at least on the surface. For the price I guess its you get what you pay for.
