"The staff very helpful, rooftop pool is the right spot to chill in daytime. Since it is seperate business, the downside of that, the pool wasn't clean. And special kudos for hotel to make a nice surprise with wine and cake in olur room for my wife's birthday. Thanks guys!"

"Short stay of 1 nite, incl 2 train trips (Tavira for morning then moving to Lagos that afternoon) so being close to the station was key. This place is 5 min (or less) walk to train station. 5 min or less other way is a pedestrian street of restaurants & shops. Room was clean, staff were friendly. Do however note there is NO elevator: lugging suitcase up the stairs is a bit of a pain. Room was clean and basic (with all you need). "

Hotel Monaco had a very friendly staff, clean rooms, and was less than 5 minutes from the Faro airport. I felt it was an excellent choice and would recommend to others looking for something similar. "
