“Promises, Promises”
Made reservations with Expedia and then visited Hotel weeks before visit. Standard room had been booked. Was shown Suite with seperate sitting area and large bathroom with bathtub with jets. Told only two or three at hotel. Was told available for the dates and would be reserved. Friday/Sat/Sunday Arrived at hotel at 2:00/check in time listed. Told room not ready/verfiied and specified which room. Picked up Wedding dress from Dewitt Cleaners, freshly pressed, and requested place to hang dress until room ready. Told no place to hang at Hotel. Had to carefully place in back of car (wrinkles!). Told room would be ready after 3:00. Returned and given keys and told room number, with Wedding dress. Went to room #110. Standard room. Back ro reception area, told situation, sent to other building room #260. Room without bed or specified tub. Taken to original room. told room unavailable and would try to straighten out situation. Bride and Groom return after reception/same room. Again told would be investigated. Same room for rest of stay. No apology. Weekend before, other friends stayed for Kinsella Wedding.Unhappy with customer service. We are local and visit bar frequently, told Happy hour over with request for 1st drink after work., Friday eve, 5 minutes beforehappy hourover/ and was Rude. Will voice opinion to Mrs. Audi when we cross paths at future social activities.
“Water Pressure”
I am satisfied overall with the Craftsman Inn every time I stay there and I've been going there once a year for the past 4 years. I love the cookies they put out every day...nice touch. My ONLY complaint is the water pressure, which is why I rated room comfort at a 4 instead of a 3. I don't remember the water pressure ever being as bad as it was this year. I'm sure it is for water conservation. Just as an FYI though, I end up using the same amount if not more water than if the pressure was normal because I end up staying in the shower for a longer period of time.
“take daughter to college”

“"Pastoral Setting Personified... Central NY's Best Kept Secret!"”
I had the occasion to escort my parents, (who are in their late 80's) to attend my son's graduation at Syracuse University on the weekend of 5/14 - 5/15/2011. The three of us were guests for an entire week at the Craftsman Inn, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from beginning to end! The staff made every effort to greet us each time we came through the front door, in addition to bidding us farewell each time we exited the lobby... The smell of freshly baked cookies in the lobby each afternoon was a real treat, even when we didn't chose to eat them... We didn't want to spoil our dinner, after all, the culinary delights that were offered at the Limestone Grill was a temptation all three of us looked forward to! We made a point to give high praise to the Craftsman Inn, as we know students that are returning to Syracuse University next year, so, their family's will be guests in the coming year! Thanks for a wonderful week!
“Country Inn”
The only thing I didn't like was that there were no convenient plugs for computer use or cell phone battery charging. The lamps should have outlets on them to provide ease of recharging or plugging in for laptops.
“Fine furnishings”
The hotel name really says it all: the finely crafted Stickley furniture, architiecture and mission style lighting make this a very casual yet elegant conference or in our case wedding party venue. Yes I would take my vows again there!
“clean, quiet”
We stayed here while taking our daughter to Syracuse University. It was located in a safe neighborhood, about 10 minutes from the school. Room was small but clean and nicely furnished. Best feature for us was that we could open a window for fresh air which isn't often possible in most hotel/motels.
“Loved it!”
When I arrived there was some confusion over the readiness of my room. Erika, the front desk clerk, chatted with me, apologized many times, and was just wonderful. The manager upgraded my room because of the wait. The room itself was a little smaller than I expected, but great all the same, very comfortable, clean, and my dogs were able to come with me. The king sized bed was comfortable, clean and had lots of pillows. Furniture was nice and in excellent condition. The hotel was across the street from a Target, P&C grocery store, and multiple restaurants. I did not try the restaurant that was attached to the hotel, but the menu look pretty good. I will definitely be a return guest in the future!
“Good value”
