“craftsman inn”

beds and pillows are very comfortable, the rooms are cozy, would ask for a 2nd floor room next time because we could hear them people above walking around on creaky floors

“Water Pressure”

I am satisfied overall with the Craftsman Inn every time I stay there and I've been going there once a year for the past 4 years. I love the cookies they put out every day...nice touch. My ONLY complaint is the water pressure, which is why I rated room comfort at a 4 instead of a 3. I don't remember the water pressure ever being as bad as it was this year. I'm sure it is for water conservation. Just as an FYI though, I end up using the same amount if not more water than if the pressure was normal because I end up staying in the shower for a longer period of time.

“"Pastoral Setting Personified... Central NY's Best Kept Secret!"”

I had the occasion to escort my parents, (who are in their late 80's) to attend my son's graduation at Syracuse University on the weekend of 5/14 - 5/15/2011. The three of us were guests for an entire week at the Craftsman Inn, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from beginning to end! The staff made every effort to greet us each time we came through the front door, in addition to bidding us farewell each time we exited the lobby... The smell of freshly baked cookies in the lobby each afternoon was a real treat, even when we didn't chose to eat them... We didn't want to spoil our dinner, after all, the culinary delights that were offered at the Limestone Grill was a temptation all three of us looked forward to! We made a point to give high praise to the Craftsman Inn, as we know students that are returning to Syracuse University next year, so, their family's will be guests in the coming year! Thanks for a wonderful week!

“Very Nice Stay in Syracuse”

Our first time staying in this lovely hotel. We stayed in a King Suite and it was perfect. The furnishings were all Stickly furniture. The bed had a pillow top mattress and a down comforter. There was a bar/makeup sink area which was a very nice additional touch. The location was great and the restaurant was wonderful.

“Fine furnishings”

The hotel name really says it all: the finely crafted Stickley furniture, architiecture and mission style lighting make this a very casual yet elegant conference or in our case wedding party venue. Yes I would take my vows again there!

“Great place to stay.”

I've stayed at the Craftsman twice now and have no complaints. I've always left feeling well rested and satified. The staff has always been nice and super helpful. I was pleasantly suprised to see comforters on the bed instead of the usual flimsy itchy blankets most hotels have. Shopping is conviently across the street...although I wouldn't recommend crossing the street without thoroughly looking both ways and once it's clear you should put a bit of a hop to your step. The Limestone restaurant next door is a nice breakfasting spot. The only possible complaint I might have is that they were lacking a fitness room which I sorely needed after all of the eating I did during my stay in Syracuse. Otherwise, I would recommend the Craftsman to anyone.

“Loved it!”

When I arrived there was some confusion over the readiness of my room. Erika, the front desk clerk, chatted with me, apologized many times, and was just wonderful. The manager upgraded my room because of the wait. The room itself was a little smaller than I expected, but great all the same, very comfortable, clean, and my dogs were able to come with me. The king sized bed was comfortable, clean and had lots of pillows. Furniture was nice and in excellent condition. The hotel was across the street from a Target, P&C grocery store, and multiple restaurants. I did not try the restaurant that was attached to the hotel, but the menu look pretty good. I will definitely be a return guest in the future!
