Stay in the car, shower at a truck stop!
I’m still awaiting the refund from my $50 room deposit. While the room appeared clean at first glance, upon opening the desk drawer to find an ashtray roaches went this way that way and this! They continued coming out of the hotel phone like a hatchery through out the night I couldn’t sleep!!!! I took all my belongings back to the car where I certain I wouldn’t pickup any hitch hikers …

The registration area was outdated, dirty and rundown. The room was outdated, floor was dirty. The tv did not work because the wifi was so weak, it would turn off come back on a few minutes later. All in all, we did not feel safe and couldn't wait to get out of there and back on the road.

The pillow cases on my bed were dirty. It looked like someone had slept on it with dirty, greasy hair. The sheet looked like it was slept on. The pattern of the matress was embedded on it . Like someone had slept there. The washcloth was nasty. Looked like a scrub rag. Bath mat was stained up. I guess they dont use bleach.The housekeeper didnt have towels, washcloths, or pilllow cases on her cart. And, tjere was no soap. Never again !

We told the front desk about blood found on the walls in two different spots,the burns on the walls and nd cigarette burns on the sheets and nd all over the furniture, after checking in after 1 in the morning! My employees during that time with me unaware took pictures of all the problems. When I found out at 3 we went to the front desk and the lady there joked about it and said don't look under anything and did not offer anything like another you to stay in. After that my employees went back to rest because we needed to be back to work in morning at 8 during that period of time they had to use the bathroom number two and there was zero toilet paper.so they went to call the front desk and there was no phone!!! They had to walk next door in 32 degree weather to the waffle House to use the bathroom!!! Do not ever stay here!!!!!

Why are they still in business??
Why is this place in open for business? Tv didnt work so i asked for a different room and they said no.....bathrooms towels were very stained with blood and smell of urine. Floors needed to be replaced. The floors was peeling up. I could go on and on but it would take to long. Stay away from this place its a sh** hole!!

OYO on I-95, Wade, NC
This is the second time I have stayed in this OYO. It is being renovated and will be nice when completed. The only complaint I have is that when I went to check in to a prepaid room for 2 nights, the clerk said I had already check in. She showed me a sheet signed by someone else (it definitely was not my signature nor did it even look like my name). But she went on to give me another room on the second floor. I told her I had requested a first floor because my husband can't climb stairs, especially carrying luggage and she was able to give me one but said I had not requested a first floor room. I had received an email from OYO telling me I would be accommodated, so I know I did request it. During this about 20 minute delay, I asked the clerk if my granddaughter could use the restroom there in the lobby because she needed to go when we first pulled in and the clerk said no, it was out of order (there was no sign on it). After about a 20 minutes delay, I had my room key. Other than a long check in (which should have been avoided with my paying in advance) we had a pleasant stay until I went to check out and had another about 10 minute wait while someone checked the room before the clerk would credit my charge card for the deposit I had to pay when I checked in.

Looks like every room should come with a free chalk outline. Roaches in the room. Linens not clean. AC barely works. All this and they require $50 deposit on top of the price of the room. Can't wait to check out.

OYO at Fayetteville I-95
I was pleasantly surprised with this OYO in that the furnishings were very nice. The room was quiet and comfortable. The only negative was that the girl on the desk when we checked out was rather rude. I had to have my deposit applied to my credit card and she said the room had to be checked and it could take several minutes. I told her I was on a tight schedule and needed it to be done as quickly as possible. She replied that it will take as long as it takes; however, it turned out to be only a few minutes.

This is an affordable hotel, but there were so many issues. The sheets were too small for the mattress, so they kept coming off. Let’s not even mention the stains on them😷 The door to the room did not have a safety latch and the door had obviously been broken into before. The door handle on the bathroom was falling off. The faucet was coming off the shower. The floors were dirty. I found a roach. We only received two towels though we stayed 3 nights and there was 4 of us. And the room only had 1 roll of half used toilet paper. We had to go to the office and beg for another one, and they didn’t want to give us that. People were running and yelling outside constantly. And there were homeless people sitting around outside. Again, I get it’s cheap. But go to a super 8. Really hope they get these issues fixed.

You get what you pay for. There were so many bugs and flies in the room we went out and bought bug spray. We also couldn't get any extra pillows because it was after 5pm and maintenance had left for the day. Kinda bizarre...Just happy the mini fridge worked and the staff was nice. We just used this hotel as our halfway point for sleep on our way to Florida. We will probably find somewhere else to stay on the way back home to Jersey.

There was nothing to like about this property. There were guys hanging around various parts of the building. The bar was closed. The registration person didn't know much. The property is beat-up and dirty. Our non-smoking room smelled like the bottom of an ashtray. The security lock was broken. Half a roll of toilet paper. We were told we'd need to have the room checked before we could check out to make sure nothing was stolen. We didn't stay and found another place for the night.
