We stayed here overnight on our drive from FL to VA. Fine - nothing fancy. Free breakfast was good and had plenty of choices.

Checked into the hotel and was given our room key. When we got to the room, the door was open and the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest. We had to go back down to the front desk to tell them. We were offered another room but it would have been on a different floor and we had other parties there, all staying on the same floor. The room was immediately cleaned, but it was just the inconvenience of the whole situation. We didn't check in until almost 4:30pm, you would think that the rooms would have been ready!!

You'd be better off at the Holiday Inn across the street or the Fairfield Inn next door. These are actual hotels.

I find the lighting of stairways and hallways insufficient. Staff seemed distracted, didn't make eye contact. I checked in around 6p for one night while travelling, so I just wanted a clean place to sleep. This met my needs and was Ok for an older motel. Shoney's across the parking lot was very convenient as I didn't need to get back in my car to go eat dinner.
