Good place if you can not find another hotel!

Pros: Breakfast was OK, the kids liked the pool and the other staff were friendly
Cons: If they improve the condition of the room and ensure that their employees are customer driven, it can be a nice place to stay the night
Location: In the middle between Washington DC and Savannah, and there might be things to do there but we just had Domino pizza (nice!, & the kids used the pool
One of the worst stays we had over years with is mainly caused by the (night) manager who was arrogant / rude / not customer driven and the cleanness of the room. By fault, Expedia made us confused, we booked a smoking room although non of us smokes. Explained that is was a mistake, but no we had to pay a $11 pay additional fee for a non smoking room although the rates for smoking / non smoking rooms were identical. We tried the "smokers" room and know understand we even smokers re-frame form it.....it has a huge terrible smell when you only open the door! So we took the "more expensive" smokers room. Regretfully was old and, most important, not clean and even contained some local uninvited (flying / walking) guest. Went to the front desk to complain about the TV, did not swish on although we tried everything, and the dirty filters of the airco. Again the manager was arrogant / rude, "you seems to be a person that always complains"....which we actually never do, but accompanied me to our room. The TV was not working....he found out after some time it was plugged in to the wrong (lighting) switch, and confirmed the airco filters were dirty and those would be checked the next morning. However the rooms are outdated / falling apart and not really clean.if they improve that and ensure that their employees are customer driven in can be a nice place to stay the night.

TV remote works sometimes sometimes not. and had no blankets on bed had to ask for blanket. ask for extra sheets for the next day and was given wrong size sheets

It was a bad experience, I didn't like the idea to make the first floor as smoking rooms and the second level is for free smoking area.

Nice hotel, friendly people, great for pets

Stopped halfway on journey between PA and FL. Convenient to highway & restaurants. Nice staff, decent rooms and pet friendly.

Average place for short stay

Pros: Staff and breakfast
Cons: Needs upgrade on windows, they are really old. Provide more than one plug point for charging electronics.
Not much to complain and not a great hotel either. Its okay for short stays. Enough room size and okay bed. Better bed and cleaner stairs would add value.

bad attitude

Pros: Bed comfortable
Cons: towels were very thin
Location: Cracker Barrel near by but don't use the shoneys
Other members of the party got there ahead of time and they would not let them check in even after my calling and asking to let them in. After we finally got it all worked out the attitude was not apologetic at all.

BE AWARE!!!

Well we were in town for one night. We had a late check in around 10:39 pm After going to our room long enough to freshen up, we hit the town for sum night life. We arrived back around 2-2:30 am. To find valuables missing from our room. We immediately called the police and notified the front desk. There was no forced entry and the local police said this has happened before at the hotel. Now we didn't use the safe provided with the room, and the door was closed and locked before we left and also to this date the hotel management hasn't been very cooperative in the matter. We will never use Rodeway Inns again.
