Restful stop close to the InterstatePosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Upon check-in, a "welcome" list is necessary: location of pool towels, where to find cold ice. A contact number to call in case of an emergency
This B&B is located in a lovingly restored 1901 home. Very clean but very basic. We have stayed there before also in the summer month of July and found it a respite for long interstate travel but an overnight is sufficient. No extras offered like fresh cookies before bed or cold sodas and fresh ice because no staff were on the premises after we were checked in! Breakfast is modest; pool is clean and refreshing after a long hot drive. We slept well and will return again

Very nice B&B. Beautiful old home. Comfortable room. Not luxurious, but great for the price. One caution. Very near RR tracks and the trains run late. I didn't mind it but be aware

Simply Divine lives up to its name: it's divine! The home is beautiful, the hosts Rob and Carmen are lovely, helpful and hospitable and the rooms are pretty and comfortable. The breakfasts are to die for--incredibly delicious.

A Little Gem in Dunn, NCPosted Feb 1, 2015
Pros: The whole experience.
Cons: Towels could be fluffier.
A delightful stay from the moment we walked in. A warm welcome from Carmen, a beautiful room with a comfortable bed and a delicious meal. What more could you ask for. The price isn't bad either. Would stay again.

Lovely & DivinePosted Jan 2, 2015 on Hotels
Absolutely DIVINE!!! We sadly only stayed one night visiting family in Dunn, NC and on our way to Myrtle Beach, SC but it was just lovely. We will definitely be back to visit again. The couple who owns this B&B are really gracious and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and we stayed in the blue room (can't remember the name) but it was so comfortable and homey feeling. I can't rave enough about how wonderful it was to stay here and we are really looking forward to returning soon! When we checked in, someone was getting married on the property and even though we weren't a part of the wedding party, the owners of the B&B still welcomed us as their guests. As a side note, it is set up beautifully for a small wedding and reception! -Melissa & Dave

Great place to stayPosted Dec 15, 2014
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in December. My husband was running a race in town, and this was closer to the start line than any other hotels in the area - and far, far nicer! The couple running Simply Divine were as nice as could be, very accommodating, and respected our privacy. The room was huge, very comfortable and secure. We had told them when we arrived we'd probably be up way too early for breakfast before the race the next day, so she put together a 'to go' bag of fruit and breakfast pastries the night before, which was very sweet. The breakfast on our last day was probably the best breakfast we'd ever had at a hotel - a decadent, hearty quiche, sausage, croissant and fresh fruit. If we're ever in Dunn again, we will definitely stay here again!
