good place to spend a night or two. the pool is small but clean the rooms are nice, everything worked except the micro and fridge that we had to use one at a time because there was only 1 plug. but we were happy with the place

“Far More than I Expected from an "Express" Hotel”

Friendly staff. Clean, well-maintained and secure facility. Beds were very comfortable. Didn't get up early enough to enjoy the breakfast and didn't take advantage of the pool, but used the on-site laundry facilities extensively. Location was great - Target, Walmart & Walgreens are just down the road, a grocery store is right across the street, and it's only a 10-minute drive to Linden, where we enjoyed the Serendipity Spa & golfed.

“Satisfied from the Show-Me State”

I was very satisfied with the property. The staff was excellent.

“A nice hotel that has everything I expected.”

I only wished they would have put microwave popcorn in the vending machines so I would have not had to leave to buy some elsewhere. The toilet did not plug up this time, like it did the last time we stayed at this hotel.

I was happy enough with this hotel with the exception of the toilet in our room. It clogged up every time any solid waste was flushed!! And it would not unclog by itself! I physically had to unclog it myself with no plunger and the next time solid waste was flushed, it clogged right back up again with only a resonable amount of toilet paper. Next time, I will give them a chance to unclog it and see how they respond. The toilet had no name on it, if it did I would boycott that company and hope every one else would, too! I also was a lttle disappointed there was no skin lotion bottles, because I needed some. We stayed at a Comfort Inn and they had skin lotion, conditioner, shampoo, soap all in the room for their guests.

“Problems”

Check in was fine. Upon entering our room, noticed not too cool. Tried to get air conditioning higher but was set at highest. Called desk and requested a different room. This room was perhaps a little cooler. Moved to it. Hotel maintainence did come to our room and fixed air. Said hotel had it set at lowest setting, but he was able to bypass this. We were upset about the hotel keeping us from adjusting our own air. Then, to top ths all off, about 3:00am, the air quit all together. Had to use fan.Came back on in morning. No cold water in sink either, warm or hot. Told front desk when we returned from our arrends about air and was told we should be thankful we had any air, because it was like 90 degrees where they were working. I replied I was sorry about that, but that I was a paying customer and expected better service. We have stayed here many times in the past, but I will say, after this time, we won't be back. I understand a new motel is available now and we will be going there in future trips to see our relatives in this area. We are from out of state.

Very Clean, congenial staff, great breakfast. Safe neighborhood with good restaurants in walking distance.
