This is a good value hotel, with helpful and knowledgable staff. Although the decor is a bit dated, the room was large and clean. We had a problem when the air conditioning in our room stopped working on the first night but in the morning the staff member at reception fixed it straight away and we had no further problems. Breakfast was fine although some of the bowls were not clean and the fruit was past its best. The location of the hotel means it is quite far from the city centre but only a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest tram and metro stops. Good free wifi was provided.

Only stayed at the Leonardo for two nights, but they made our stay perfect. Staff were willing to ring taxis for us and even giving us a wake up call on the morning we had an early travel. Beds were changed everyday and fresh towels placed in our rooms.
The only criticism id give is the size of the rooms, they are only little but to be fair its not a big deal.
Also we asked for a double bed and was giving two single beds pushed together which was a big annoying as they where on wheels and not locked so everytime you moved you would fall into the middle of the bed. The showers are also very little and if you was say over 5ft 5 you would have to take the shower head off of the stand.
Other than that, perfect stay.

The unusual architecture of this hotel hides a good location for visiting Budapest. Our room on the top floor turned out to be a suite with plenty of space. Breakfast more than adequate. A short walk to metro or trams for easy access to central Pest. A 24 hour public transport ticket is good value, as are the hop on hop off bus tours.

Great location, great value for money and friendly, helpful staff. Within within walking distance of the city centre and very close to metro station so nice and easy to get around the city. Also close to local shops including an Aldi supermarket and a nice little street of bars and restaurants. Great place to explore the city from.

Hotel near few shops and with buses and tran service right in front of the hotel. You need to know where to and how to get tickets before boarding. No choice of satellite TV channels if you can't go out due to bad weather which we had (rained for two days out of four)

This is a nice hotel if you're traveling on a budget. It's actually an upscale hostel; you may or may not have a private room to yourself. I stayed one week and one of those nights I had a roommate. The location is good. There is a major shopping mall down the street and good local goulash at the corner. The Metro is a 5 minute walk to the main intersection. There could be improvements, like updated beds, but for the $, it is adequate. I would recommend Rila if you're on a budget. If not, there are better choices.

Ferencvaros is an up-and-coming, vibrant district, hugely popular with young professionals. The town has benefited from major development and an array of trendy bars and restaurants litter the lively area. The National Theatre, sitting on the banks of the Danube, is the largest in Hungary and visitors can explore the park surrounding the auditorium, which features numerous arts industry memorials.
