“excellent, would reccomend”

We arrived in figuares via the train enroute to a friend's wedding, we chose this hotel based on other reviews and therefore I wanted to add my own as it was an excellent place to stay. We took a taxi from the main train station which was 13 euros but well worth it as we arrived late, getting around figuares to our hire car at the other train station was very easy. There are many lovely cafes and a lovely square just outside the hotel. The Dali museum is a 5 min walk and there was so much to see and do around the hotel. Our room was very clean, comfortable and modern. No english tv channels but the free wifi made up for this. Excellent value for money, very helpful staff. Unfortauntely due to a short trip we did not try the hotel resturant but it looked very pleasant, the breakfast in the morning was lovely and well worth the money, Would reccomend the hotel for character, location, price and modern facilities.

A great little hotel with a wonderful restaurant in a town of character. Excellent location for the connecting bus to the TGV service into France.

Hotel Duran is a charming old-style European hotel. Beautifully decorated lobby. Wonderful location just off of main square and just a few blocks from Dali museum.

We really loved staying at this hotel. It was a shame we were only there for one night. Unfortunately we were checked in by an exceptionally rude receptionist, though the friendliness of subsequent reception staff made up for this. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, free wireless internet was a bonus but the best thing was the location. Set on a quaint cobblestone street you really were in the heart of classic Figueres. The Dali museum and great restaurants were only 5 mins walk away. The cafe downstairs was frequented by Dali and there are some of his original works on the wall. Loved it!
