Gilligan's IslandPosted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: The staff, the privacy, the activites
Cons: FOOD! Absolutely terrible! We often had the same items each day or same item, different sauce. Items were bland. Eggs were sour. Food was cold.
Location: Very private island, but they offer many activities- free and for an additional fee.
If you are looking for a Gilligan's Island secluded resort, this is the place for you. The island was beautiful. Our room had a hammock and looked right into the ocean. We were on the back side of the island and able to listen to the ocean waves at night. There were plenty of activities offer to keep us busy during the day if we wanted to take part. The snorkeling/diving is amazing! We loved being able to talk to the extremely friendly staff and learn more about Fijian life. The only drawback to this island experience was the food. We stayed three nights and only had one decent meal which was very disappointing after partaking in amazing food experiences on the mainland.

Party island was a bit quiet.Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: I liked the snorkelling and the slushy cocktails
Cons: The food, while plentiful, was ordinary.
Location: Go up to the Yasawa Islands for a more adventurous holiday.
Free WIFI had all the young travellers glued to their smart phones when they should have been socialising and enjoying the island! My daughter included! Snorkelling with Fish feeding was amazing and the highlight of our two night stay. Enjoyed my Body scrub experience at the spa too!

Beautiful location, beautiful peoplePosted Jan 10, 2015
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff, meals all included. Activities are run throughout the day and there are extra activities available too.
Cons: There were lots of things that seemed to us as done inefficiently, but it is similar all over Fiji, Fiji time is a real thing!
Location: Staying on the mainland for a few days first is worth it as it is hard to go to the mainland with enough time to do activities without staying.
Lovely location, everyone is friendly and eager to do things. Staff are very kind and interesting. Air con room was an excellent choice!! Awesome island experience.

Tolles Budget-HostelPosted Jan 9, 2015

Party islandPosted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: _ Good and helpful staff _ Stunning sea with reef _ Beach bar and restaurant _ Animation and good music all day long _ Free wifi
Cons: _ Lunch/dinner buffet was sufficient, but maybe they can make some variant more.
Location: _ All island trip possible _ Good snorkeling site
We spent 2 night in a double room and 1 night in a dorm. Room clean and well organised, dorm as well. Our New Year's Eve was fantastic, with a very nice party.

Great party Island but a let down on the foodPosted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: People were amazing - So friendly & lovely , Beach Beautiful , Clear blue waters where you can snorkel and rooms were nice enough.
Cons: Food- If they are making u pay $80 a day for food you expect to be provided with nice food, If not then stock more food like 2min noodles in the shop
Location: Kayak around the island , Do the day trips to cloud 9 and island hop. Snorkel & they also have jet skis you can hire, Also a beauty room too
Went to Beach comber on the 29th of Dec and came home on the 3rd. The island was beautiful and the people amazing - Great to relax as well as have a great time down at the bar. Unfortunately for us we got straight off the plane and put on a shuttle that took us out to the boats to go across to the island and didn't get a chance to stop for food nor were we told . We went thinking that there would be food to buy on the island and that they would have a little dairy or something however this wasn't the case. There was a little shop that only stocked Way over priced pringles, Twisties and Pinic bars not ideal, They also had a "Take away" shop however this ran out of hot chips and burgers and didn't replenish the stock. When booking the accommodation we were not advised until after all the payments had gone through that it was compulsory to pay $80 a day for Breakfast lunch and dinner that was schedule at set times. This food was a utter let down - When you think about going to a tropic island you expect or would of thought you would get a range of seafood and fruit however we were very wrong. No seafood other than fish which was done in a satay sauce or coconut sauce, Mushy watermelon and brown banana's for the fruit. The meat was tough was not appetizing at all - Most nights we just ate the bread rolls. Its disappointing when you have to pay for the meals and they are no where worth the $80 paid. As a trip to the mainland was $99 pp there was no point going back for food

Fun Island Party NightPosted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Good for party atmosphere in the evening. You can kayak to nearby Treasure Island for a rental fee.
Cons: Mosquito nets in the dorm would have been nice as it is not sealed from outside. The enclosure and treatment of the Sea Turtles was very disappointing
We spent one night on the way to further flung islands in the region and had a fun night. Bring your own bottled water as it is very expensive at the bar. The dorm is huge and has lockable draws for each bed. Water pressure in the showers was terrible however the food was reasonable and the staff helpful and fun.

Excellent place let down by foodPosted Jan 2, 2015
Compulsory food low value for money... With a lot of it bland and uninspiring. Introduce competition with the snack bar and she what the people will choose .... Really sad as the island is fantastic but the coompulsory food option will stop me going back again!!!

My Beautiful Island.Posted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: I love it's simplicity, just what I'm looking for some thing like home .
Cons: Love to see an environment improvement on the island like composting all the food left overs for a beautiful ,organic vegetable garden.
Location: An educational tour of plants and flowers ,that will create a very close connection ,understanding and interest.
So so beautiful and peaceful ,love every thing about it.
