Ideal Hotel for Wedding GuestsPosted Dec 3, 2013
Cons: Perhaps a little less chlorine in the pool. Most of our clothes have faded...
We could not fault our stay at Bedarra. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and were VERY sad when we had to leave. The rooms were clean and spacious, could not fault the staff. This honestly felt like a home away from home.We had many other Wedding guests call in and remark on how welcome they felt. I would thoroughly recommend this place particularly if you just want a rest. Food was fabulous and the balcony became our favourite spot to eat, drink and be merry. Happy Hour was busy and fun with the staff giving as much they got. Lovely, lovely place. Beautiful memories for us forever!

Pros: Big, clean rooms at a reasonable price. Great menu variety and flexibilty. Lovely staff.
Location: Restaurant with great views to the beach.
This motel represents great value for money and depicts Fiji at its friendliest. The staff are so obliging and look like they enjoy their jobs. Special note - very family friendly environment.

Fantastic value, highly recommendedPosted Nov 30, 2013
We booked this hotel because it was about $1000-$1500 cheaper than the Outrigger, which was the venue for the wedding we were attending. We were greeted warmly on arrival, with a cold drink and friendly staff, who then showed us promptly to our rooms. The rooms themselves are large and minimally furnished, however more than enough to meet our needs. It is a normal sized hotel, compared to the obese opulence of the Outrigger. It has 2 shallow pools, however it is right next to the beach, for which they provide snorkelling equipment. The view from the hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the hotel restaurant. Once you settle in, though you quickly find the friendly staff are the Bedarra's best asset. You can tell a quality establishment by the way they treat their staff. The Bedarra is run by a small range of long time staff who, through their experience and passion endeavour to give you the best holiday possible. Every day we were greeted by smiling, good humoured people who were always prompt. We loved our stay at the Bedarra and don't regret the choice of it over the Outrigger one bit! Highly recommended!

RelaxingPosted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: The hotel was very clean, the food was excellent, all in all a very good hotel well worth the price.
Cons: Only a little pick as I have mobility problems, the last step to get out of the pool is a little high so I needed assistance.
Location: Bit off the beaten track but all trips could be organised from the hotel. The lagoon was well used for snorkeling, kayaking and reef walking.
We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday at the Bedarra after 3 weeks driving round New Zealand. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and gave us a wonderful weeks holiday. Vanaka to you all.

The best little hotel on Fiji's Coral CoastPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: Nicer and less crowded than nearby resort.
Cons: A small store would have been handy to buy treats. A newspaper for every room. Crafts to purchase. Crossword puzzles. Magazines for women.
Location: The Sand Dunes were awesome and a great hike. The Kula bird park was also nice but a little expensive.
From the moment you arrive and you are greeted with Bula, and handed a cold drink, you feel at home. Bedarra Beach Inn is cozy but with excellent service, a nice pool and a view of the Coral Coast like no other. What makes this place so special though are the people who work there. Happy hour is between 5.00 and 6.00 p.m. with half price drinks. A drummer announces so that you don't miss it. Meals are very good with a less expensive menu as well. There is no TV or phone in the room but you will be amazed how much you do not miss either of these modern conveniences. We became Scrabble fans and read lots of books. Buses pick up and drop at the door and the hotel has its own transportation. We rented a car from Budget before leaving the USA and enjoyed the convenience. Driving was not a problem. Snorkeling could have been better but the water is warm and you can wade out to the reef at low tide. Loved the Bedarra Beach Boys entertainment each night and the Goodbye song when we left. We cried it was so beautiful. Thanks...

Great, relaxing place to stay.Posted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Size of rooms. Staff, activities, overall a pleasant experience.
Cons: For me, the food could have been improved. It was just basic fare. It was good but a distinct lack of variety.
Location: Suva a 1.5 hr drive away along the coast. Singatoka 5 minutes away and Nadi 1 hr away. It is in a great location.
No phones, no TV. Without anything else l knew this was going to be a great place to stay. Nice grassed area with furniture right on the beach. Plenty of activities for the kids to do, although there were not that many children staying there. Staff were excellent, helpful but not in your face. Nothing was too much trouble. Not for from Suva, which made for a nice drive along the coast. A pleasant relaxing 4 day break. I have recommended to my friends ths place and my wife and I will stay there again. Only dissapointing thing, for me, was the food. It was certainly nothing special so a bit more variety would have made a terrific stay even better.

Nice and quiet location with excellent staffPosted Nov 9, 2013
Coral coast is a main part of Fiji were you enjoy the corals. It is not a sand beach for who enjoy it! The hotel is a nice spot between very expense resorts. Nice food for lunch and dinner but I would prefer buffet breakfast. A little bit far (1:30h) from the Nadi port if you wAnt to go to the islands. Excellent staff though...so if you want peace ...you will find at bendarra!
