Little gem in the Coral CoastPosted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Our stay at Bedarra was amazing specially for its staff, they are all always keen to help us with the biggest smile!
Cons: The only thing we missed was a nice games room, specially when you are with kids and sometimes needs something to entertain them at night.
Location: The Hotel is close to Sigatoka, 5 minutes by car, where you can find souvenirs and food. We also visited the market and a nice eatery next to it.
I stayed at Bedarra for 8 nights with my family, including two children (10 and 19 yo) and we all loved the place. The room was spacious and comfy, it has a king size bed and they put a couple of single beds for the children, still plenty of room. Fan and Air Conditioning worked perfect and keep us cool in the hot nights. Food - We had Continental Breakfast each day at the hotel cafe, with lovely local fruits, coffee, toast, cereal... plenty of food for everyone. As we moved around a lot we had lunch in different places, and we came back to the hotel for Happy Hour (lovely cocktails) and dinner. Here is when the Bedarra chef deserve a special note as each dish was delicious and beautifully presented! In terms of prices we found that they were very similar to what we pay back in NZ in a nice restaurant. Snorkelling - The lagoon in front of the hotel is great for Snorkelling, specially when you are a beginner, I myself snorkelled here for the first time and I loved it! You have to be aware that is best to do it with high tide, you will see more fish and creatures. The Hotel places a yellow flag when is the best time and have a tide report at reception. As the lagoon is not too deep is also nice and safe for kids. The Hotel provides equipment for snorkelling, however we brought our own.

Paradise on the ReefPosted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: This resort is much quieter than the other main resort up the road and all of the services including food were at least 30% more affordable.
Cons: More vegan options on the menu.
Location: The best value souvenir shop we found in all of Fiji, Korotogo Souveneir Centre, is only 10 minutes walk from the resort.
This resort was exactly what we were looking for in a honeymoon, private, quiet, friendly with great food and service. We arrived nearly 6 hours early but they put us into our room after providing us with complimentary drinks and a voucher for a free foot massage. We also had massages which were very affordable and relaxing. They provide taxi's through their resort so you know they are charging the correct price. All the taxi drivers through the resort were friendly and helpful when finding destinations. They provide information on tourist events and were helpful in describing where to find different bits and pieces in town. It is right on the beach with free snorkeling gear to look at all the wonderful fish. the gardens are exquisite and the pool area is relaxing with umbrellas and banana lounges everywhere. We were

Not good locationPosted Apr 12, 2015
It was well hidden, hard to get there in another transport that is not in taxi, it does not have a good beach, food not special, small swimming pool

A lovely place with lovely friendly staffPosted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Close to the beach and very quiet. Nothing is too much trouble.
Location: close to the beach with reasonable snorkelling and swimming. Good BBQ restaurant up the road towards Outrigger Resort
Try the friendly driver Sammy while you are there. He will take you anywhere for a good price and is full of local info.

Intimate compared to other big resorts.Posted Apr 4, 2015
Loved the facilities and the massive room. Staff were beautiful and accomodating. Only thing missing that made it a bit hard for my family was no tv for the kids at the end of a long tiring day.

Amazing snorkeling!Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: staff, beach, tour organising, food, band
Location: It is a bit far from some of the bigger tours (about 1.5-2 hours in a bus) but the water is great, food, a spa and tour buses often include transport
The staff at Bedarra are so friendly and helpful! The food was great and the help with tour planning was so helpful. The beach front had such good snorkeling, we could see a lot before we even got into the water!

Superb Hotel beside a lagoon beach.Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel - room, staff, food, swimming pool, Fiji beer and happy-hour! and beach-side location.
Cons: Being able to stay longer perhaps ?
Location: A good, beach-side location along the Coral Coast with snorkelling in the lagoon and other tourist attractions can be easily arranged.
If you want to experience paradise, this is the place for you ! It is a very welcoming small hotel with staff who gave a personalised and friendly service which was second to none. In fact, they were like family to us ! The room was spacious, comfortable and the air-conditioning was very inviting after a hard day's sunbathing either by the beach just across the road or by the pool. Good food is a very important ingredient for a great holiday and the Bedarra Beach Inn did not disappoint in any way - their cuisine was exquisite particularly the fish and curry dishes. The spa treatments were also a touch of luxury. All in all, a stay made in heaven !

Super friendly and awesome food!Posted Feb 17, 2015
All the staff are sooooo friendly - really made us feel welcome and special! If there's anything they could do to help us out they always obliged. They also serve great food!! Everything we ordered was super tasty, well presented and very reasonably priced. We did plan on trying a few other places out for food, but the hotels was so good that we didn't want to chance a sub-standard meal anywhere else.
