Einfaches Hotel in Flughafennähe. Nicht zu viel erwarten, die Bilder sind schöner als das Original...

Poor for Fiji

Posted Dec 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours at all time of day. We were in a double room and we had a door that led to the apartment next to ours. We spent the whole time worrying they could get in. It's a bit far from the beach and there was never anyone in the restaurant, making it feel a bit like a ghost town. We also had a lot of problems getting the wifi to work and it was VERY overpriced! If you want to stay near the beach, there are a lot of cheaper options right on the sand.

Just about open

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Cleaning staff, security staff awesome always got a smile for you. Always walking around make you feel safe.
Cons: They need a good manager to get this place up to scratch get a chef, clean the pool, look like you are open.
Location: 7 mins to beach, bamboo bar 7 mis awesome there, also aquarist.
We stayed for a week.its ok for the money.not many people staying and put us all in the old building. Which is in need of some love. Silly things like everything in our fridge froze.chair broken. But not end of the world. Pool was not very clean. And they turn the slide off so be sure to ask them to put it on. Food is a no go area. No one seems to be working in the restaurant and when they do its not good. They don't have a chef , anyone jumps behind the jump and gives it a go. Staff are very nice and lovely ladies who clean your rooms. It's 7 mins to beach and there is the bamboo bar and restaurant which is awesome.they do happy hour which grand west don't do.alsohotel next door does happy hour 6-8 awesome in there.

Old Dirty and very run down

Posted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: It needs to be totally refurbished, painted and redecorated as it is very out dated! Much below average standards!
Location: The Giant gardens were beautiful although we thought not worth the $16.00 entry fee. Staff were very friendly and welcoming! Mud pool is a must fun!
Receptionist was not friendly, rude and very uninviting and unhelpful. The place is very run down, horrid stains in the bath, most power points were not working and only 1 dodgy air conditioning in the main bedroom which had real trouble keeping up with the heat! Windows were very dirty, front screen door did not slide properly and fell of its hinges. Back screen door was absolutely filthy. Nothing was prepared for our arrival and my heart just sank when we walked in to the unit! Pool was black along the side and the food was mediocre. The blankets were disgusting and smelly and I would never stay there again! Very upsetting and disappointing!

hôtel correct pour le prix

Posted May 7, 2014 on Hotels.com

Transit hotel, certainly not a longstay.

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Not a lot
Cons: Lots
Location: Middle of nowhere. 15 minute walk to beach.
Pros: Staff Cons: Restaurant, bar, poolside furniture, Firstly the overriding experience here was that this was the worst food in their "restaurant" I have ever eaten. There was one other group there and one of their party vomited 5 minutes into their meal which wasnt a good sign. Im not normally a fussy eater, but this was awful. The microwave was used alot to defrost parts of our meal. Price was the same as some of the great restaurants we ate at in other resorts. The pool was ok. However was let down by there being 3 loungers, 2 of which were broken. Hotel back right onto airport (the long way around) and the planes a very loud when they take off. Located near Wailoaloa Beach its a 15 minute walk away to a nice safe beach. Not your white sands and clear water type, but nice enough. We spent a couple of days on the beach up near the Smugglers Cove resort and ate there. Staff there are amazing and the food is brilliant. Rooms here were big, but dated. They were clean. Air conditioning was loud and unusable in the night. Not a lot of people were staying here, and mainly seemed to be locals in transit than a traveller destination. Is in the middle of nowhere and some taxi drivers didnt know where it was. However reception calls quick taxi's which are cheap to get around. Wouldnt stay here agin

Wir waren (zum Glück) nur eine Nacht im Hotel da es so nah am Flughafen liegt.
